I realised only after seeing somewhere that there won't be any telecasts on Moharram...I am not well aware of the details, but its something like they mourn for the Prophet's grandson and/or fast...whoever here knows the details please share.

That would work for me only if i wasn't aware that the show was being aired. And lets say one fine day i stumble upon it after it has ended, it would be easy. But now knowing that Danish's show is on air, it would require me another level of patience to wait till it ends and then start watching. 😆

I'll tell you what happened with me. I once happened to stumble on some Deewangi scenes around the same time Ishq Hai premiered. (I knew who Danish was, but never took interest in following Pak dramas/movies/etc) I watched his scenes on loop. I just couldn't get enough of him. Lol. I thought he looked so fine (☺️), acted so well (😲) and shared amazing chemistry with Hiba. That was it, i binge watched Deewangi. I became a sucker for their pair. Then came across Haara Dil. I enjoyed that as well, only because of them. Now, around the same time, the social media algorithm would make all of Danish and Ishq Hai related stuff appear on my feed. 😆 But i was so disappointed looking at Danish's new look. I remember thinking why did he do this to himself. Lol. Anyway, i thought lets check out the show and i did. I thought the show was the same old l, same old. And i was still not over Danish and Hiba's pairing and found Danish Minal not so worthy of looking forward to. I guess i stopped after one or two episodes. But then somehow would just vaguely follow whats happening in the show. Aise karte karte pata nahi when i got hooked. It became my guilty pleasure. Danish as Shahzeb made me root for not only him, but his love, his Isra. 😭😳 And since then there has been no looking back. All in all, i can say that all those thoughts that i had when the show first aired no longer resonate now. I cant imagine Shahzeb in any other look. For me this is how Shahzeb looks. I now, love Minal as Isra. I cant imagine anyone else as Isra not even Hiba. That innocence, that playfulness, that cuteness, she has got it all. And it complements so well with that of Danish as Shahzeb. Their age gap looks cute and fun. That dynamic looks interesting. I like the show too. There are these nalayak toxic characters, but like amna says i just wanna watch this show and enjoy. Dont wanna be a politically correct viewer. Just wanna watch it as a guilty pleasure. I just hope they dont Butcher Shahzeb, Isra and their sincere love.
So yeah, i cant get enough of this show. And i always look forward to the next episode and the discussions here that go on. Im so glad i have this place to share my excitement that i have regarding the show. 😆
