I watched the ep after work and honestly Rhea ki to daat deni padegi. Ladki ne bolne ka socha bhi toh by god, kya kya bola. Mera face to uski mom se nahin hat raha tha. Not to mention Sarla. Savitri ne bhi kam nahin sunaya hai.

Aur yeh thoda shayad controversial hojaye- but as we know ki writers don't reveal a lot of the thought process of characters. Today's ep actually cleared up a lot of my dislike about Ahaan's recent idiocy. Just based on his whole reluctance from earlier eps to go against traditions and values would make him hesitant to believe anything about a mole in the house, especially his own family. That reluctance is understandable since habit is one of the worst traits to try and break, especially when it has been instilled in you by an authority figure who is also someone you have been dependent on.

In the end, I'm just trynna keep in mind that this is a fictional show and it has already pushed a lot of boundaries. This reverting back to a bit of drama and traditional masala may be a last-ditch effort from the writers/pitch team to show Sony that they can change up the storyline to appeal to mass audiences (at the time of the extension news), but when the extension fell through, they probably couldn't re-shoot the scenes so they decided to go with it (yeh sirf meri ek theory hai, nothing else! Aadat se majboor, apni psychology kahin par bhi apply karna shuru kar deti hoon 😆). Sab ke sab, saari ki saari gaaliya mujhe inbox kar dena 😂😂
