I always thought Raghav was waiting for her to get there, or to show some interest before he even suggested anything more. He had done so much to her, he was totally ok with his unrequited love / love at a distance/ friendzone state. But anytime he got a hint that Pallavi was interested in him - whether it was his looks or just him, he was always so curious and eager to know if it was real. Thats why he was so eager to hear her say ILU first. He needed her consent before he could really be with her.

Yes that’s exactly how I feel as well! He knew it and he waited because he didn’t want her to feel compelled to reciprocate his feelings, just because they were married. We have discussed this topic so many times on this thread before 😆 and yet here it’s again! I just wrote how what I think about it in detail on the previous page.

@bold- I know right

Takes me back to his - “toh tum mere liye kuch feel karta hai?”😳

In the beginning he wasn’t even feeling unworthy or anything you know. He was so sure that he will turn everything around in 30 days and would make her stay forever. That’s what he promised her at the station. Then his “Kaun jaane dega” said it all! Him wanting her to fast for him is another example. He was pretty consistent uske baad till the moment amma told him that Pallavi might not be happy with him. Then he decides to let her go and even though pallavi stays- what amma said also stays with him. Then we see Raghav who holds back-“ why would you fast for me, don’t do that”. But Pallavi reassures him pretty good with her actions. There comes Vat Savitri, then Mandaar accident track, Pallavi refusing to give up on him and even going to jail with him- this whole track was about Raghav’s acceptance of his own feelings. Like Ashi has mentioned before, the night Pallavi is drunk and he cries begging her to understand him this one time, how much he needs her, is the closest he comes to saying it loud. Then the ‘kaise mujhe tum mil gayi..’ - the evening he realises that she does not not want him. That smile on Raghav face and then he plans an evening with her! - he accepted her love for him that day. I think it was a classic case of “you accept the love you think you deserve”.

Then after they are back from the hospital- he tell her to say it already, “Mai aur wait nhi kar sakta” . He just wanted to make sure he doesn’t say it first and kind of forces her into it. He wanted her to choose. But it very well implied that he already knew what he felt for her and had waited quite long. Mandaar’s appearance just made him say it, because he really couldn’t wait anymore. Everything was at stake!

Not disagreeing with anything you are saying Parul.. I know all that. Maybe because I said that Pallavi was ready to confess that day..say the words and Raghav was doing everything that would suggest he is very much in love, but still was holding back to make it official like he later did when Mandhar came in the picture..maybe that's why you felt that I have a diff take on this. I am drawing parallels with KHKT because watching the show right now..both men by their actions proved that they are very much in love..but they hold back from admitting or confessing for some or the other reason. In Rohit's case it was the guilt related to Raima because of which he friendzoned her and in Raghav's case it was his emotional baggage..he knew he needs her in her life, she is the one for him.. but he still held back..After the accident, things started to change yes but I think he would've still taken time to officially confess..Mandhar's entry made him realize that he has to tell her now.. this is what I wanted to say

I love talking about it! Haha. I think this part of their love story is why I love MHRW so much. There's no forced feelings. The importance (maybe even unknowingly) they placed on Pallavi's consent, after Raghav had wronged her, is so uncommon to see in ITV IMO. (Disclaimer: I haven't watched every show out there.)

But bc there was the IPKKND post shared - I'll just refer to that one. They also had a forced marriage, while they had lingering new feelings for each other. Of course I think most of us all know the story - Arnav was seeking revenge/ protecting his sister's marriage/had a misunderstanding. But even when they fell in love again, it was as if Arnav had no real remorse or awareness of his past injustices against Khushi? There was no hesitancy in loving her, there was no worry from him that she may hold whatever he did against her. IDK I did see the series while it was live so I may have a fuzzy recollection of what happened. Not that Arnav forced himself on her - really no ITV male lead in love does that. But I think there always was a level of assumption that Khushi would always forgive him and would fall for him, if that makes any sense.

But watching this show - it's such a stark difference. Raghav knew he had messed up before, and didn't want to take Pallavi's kindness and good nature as an assumption of her love, if that makes any sense.

💯 I agree! The focus on the consent wala part is absolutely praiseworthy. And thank god they did give him what is famously termed as a ‘redemption track’ around the forum and a good one at that. Otherwise it would have been hard to digest.

I love talking about it too. Their journey of falling in love is so special.❤️

The reason is - it is really tough to show the giddiness of first love without going over and it was shot superb with Pallavi being unsure of expressing herself and Raghav dying to hear those 3 magical words. It was so so relatable - when you actually realise that yes this is the person you love trust me it is really hard to look at them without blushing and melting into a puddle. MHRW scene had everything in it - the blush on Pallu's face and the twinkle in her eyes to the eagerness in Raghav's face.

Exactly...that too when she is confessing before him...I found her so honest and cute...other FLs try to hide it or keep away from ML after realization but this girl...her honesty and need to tell him straight away...👏

I know right!

watched it and trying to get over SaiShi tab se! 😆

I said it kuch der phle, he could have as well named Shivangi 🤣. It’s all her

The fact that ‘talkative’ wala part he adds especially , even when he didn’t need to say anything anymore- it’s like let’s not miss her most prominent trait 😆❤️

You guys analyse every single detail and get it lol whereas I watched that but again but still couldn’t see it😂. Losing my analytic skills!! I think it’s because I’m just so focused on him as I love how he speaks that I end up in dreamland🥰

It depends on what we are invested in right. You don’t have to look for it. I love SaiShi the way you love Sai. 😆 I love them both all the same. Infact when it comes to the way they speak, Shivangi has me hooked like nobody else through all her interviews!

Haven’t you seen Sai complaining again and again in his earlier IVs that Shivangi is very talkative? And saying that she’s very honest, and that’s what he likes the most about it? And whenever he was asked about his choice of life partner he would say aisa koi specific list nhi hai. But there is a list now and all those things are on it! (Loving, truthful, honest, talkative) That’s where all the connection comes from. You see it now? 🤣

Yes how can I forget the early interviews!! I remember now. Do you know what after having a weeks break from coming on here and fast forwarding most of the episodes past few weeks I guess I’ve lost touch a little bit with everything hence not connecting all the dots so thank you for reminding me.

Shivangi is No.1 for me as I was just wowed by her initial interviews, so grounded and unlike anyone else.

As for Sai, let me tell you a little story. I met a guy from Alleppy on the plane during my last trip to India and not only does he look like Sai but sounds like him and is an engineer too!! He works in Saudi and we’ve stayed in touch so when I speak to him, he reminds me of Sai hence my dreamlike state lol
