Hey lovely, everyone is good. Relatives are staying indoors so they feel relatively safe atm. It’s just comforting to know they’re okay for now. Who knows what the future has in store for them.

I was literally in the middle of some kind of celebration. People were cheering for them. Literally full of joy. Hey love, I’ve watched those videos. See the thing is, these promises of peace has been made in the past before. They never commit to it. I believe they are trying to avoid a violent resistance and want to ease international pressures. The only way to do this is to make civilians believe that they have changed, that they have the people’s best interest at heart etc. Yet, they didn’t waste time to change the flag. It’s a matter of time once the civilians have a false sense of security, before they start their oppressive and violent methods.

I wish I was wrong but the Taliban has never changed their ways in the past.

A close pakistani friend of mine has been silent. She was at protests for Palestinian, did fundraisers and now nothing. It honestly hurts. What does Afghanistan have to do to be taken seriously. Is 40 years of war not enough?

This killed me. So much pain for someone so young. No child deserves to be exposed to the ugliness and cruelty of this world. While children of the same age are busy playing with their toys, this beautiful boy wants to grow up, not to enjoy his adulthood, but to vow with all of his heart that he will avenge the death of his father. 💔

Though I get what you are saying, people should get out of there while they can, but he has made some very valid points, and he is not saying that Taliban can be trusted at all.

He also said that Americans get inside a country without knowing its history or the area at all.. devastate it completely.. and then leave when they cant handle the insurgency. 😡
