The show reminds me of an old show Kusum. The guy had some kundali dosh and gets married to a middle class girl Kusum. As his rich parents knew Kusum is born with lot of good luck

But I have to say Kusum was a bold show there Kusum left the male lead after discovering his affair and deception and went and married another guy who truly loved her and lived happily with him but ITV especially Zee has gone full on regressive since early golden itv years so I doubt here Lakshmi will leave male lead she will suffer torture abuse murder attempts blah blah but will still obsessively stay with male lead with her typical sindoor suhagan bhashans like Preeta and Pragya etc

Though kkusum left abhay after her husband died she married abhay again.
