Someone has mentioned about the new show of Colors TV - 'Nima Denzongpa'.
It is show based on Sikkim , and me being from Assam doesn't know much about their culture.
But I have seen a video where one girl from Sikkim says that -
The surname 'Denzongpa' used is from Bhutia community but the attire the actors are shown wearing is Nepali attire.
The cultures of both Bhutia and Nepali communities both live in Sikkim but their cultures are very different but the promo showed mixing both.
And she also said that as the actress is from Assam, where again we have totally different cultures and way of living, she does not know the correct pronunciations and even pronounces her character's surname 'Denzongpa' wrong.
From watching the video I realised they didn't even do some basic research too.
