But once they sleep over it, and talk to him with cool minds, it maybe shown.

Yea, Dhara will talk to both Shivi at some point.

But the question is- will she give sensible, productive, unbiased advice?? Or will it be a token conversation about tum ghuse mein ho...thande dimaag se socho...or maybe biased like she was during haveli with Dev?

I wanted private confrontation, did they give me? No

I wanted ShiVi decent conversation, did they give me? No

I wanted positivity, did they give me? No

I wanted logical solution, totally against any kind of violence and physical abuse, did they give me? No

I wanted to see a decent progress for DevTa, did they give me? No

Every problem, fight in the show is public, berating/demeaning others, plotting/planning like Kish, nothing ends in this house without a drama.

I know this is a fiction but after a hard day’s life with so much going in on in real world, why are we being putting through this torture. What will come off them if they show something decent? The world will end?😕

I know you are talking all sense here .... but does every indian household make decision that makes sense

@bold, I think it's a difference in opinion. From my understanding, today's episode has resonated with people in all different ways, which is why the opinions are so mixed. Perhaps people who voted red are the most vocal here on the EDT; however, if you see the poll ML posted on the main thread (Link here), you'll see that quite a few people loved it (57% voted Green for today's episode)

My dislike for today's episode entirely stems from the first half of the episode. The family's abrupt accusation for Shiva without hearing his side broke me. Before medical school, I worked with children, and hearing their stories of how their families didn't care for them broke me. So seeing this episode reminded me of all the conversations I had with children who were depressed... and honestly, after hearing a child say, "All I want is for my mother to hug me..." I can't help but pray for children who were abused, neglected, poorly treated... and this episode reminded me of that pain (hence why I am unable to move on from it)

Shiva has grown up in a family who has not properly appreciated him, besides Suman and Krish, unlike Raavi who was loved by Maami, Anita, and Mausa-Pa. I keep hoping for a scene where the Pandya family begins to cherish and respect Shiva, but I haven't seen it so far... maybe this will be the track where everyone respects him, but until that, I will reserve my judgement

Aww. Avi, this hits differently and definitely can see why you felt the way you did.

But as someone who's been in a situation where I was always misunderstood by my parents growing up in teen years and had serious middle child syndrome where I had to leave them a long letter and a note for them to recognize and acknowledge my feelings, I will say that in such situations, you have to speak up for them to understand you. And Shiva has never felt that he wasn't loved. In fact he thinks his Bhai and Bhabhi love him too much. And somewhere based on what Suman told him, hopefully, he acknowledges that he was wrong too.

And I loved the camera focusing on Shiva when Kanta Kaki revealed about how much it is humiliating for a husband when his wife slaps him like that in public. KD'S expressions there were on point as always. These nuances also made me like the episode.

Having said that, I can definitely see how it spoke to you (and many others here) differently . This did give me a different perspective, so thanks for this anecdote.

Atleast the one I grew up in and the one I married into😕 Everything need not be negative, illogical all the time.

i am surprised that none of them have health problems in Pandya house besides Dhara being unable to conceive😕

This is certainly not a popular opinion on the forum, but after everything that has happened, yes... I would like to have sensible outsiders (not Rohan or whatever his name is) but someone who is a voice of reason.

I know Sara's Zoe is not popular in the slightest, but I think introducing a childhood character (doesn't have to be a childhood sweetheart/crush) who knows Shiva better would help Raavi realize that Shiva is not the man she believed he was... it's hard now because everyone in town agrees with her words (except his family), but a childhood friend who threatens to topple Raavi's achievements may cause her to see beyond the masalas and tel...

As for Raavi, since they had her go to college, I would've loved to see one of her former college professors (who is young) advise her on what successful marriages are made out of... He could even have a conversation with Shiva about struggling to find his self-worth in the relationship.

I think outsider perspective will be fresh and new for them... making them want to give their relationship a try

Shiva needs to hold his rage

And Raavi needs to hold her degrading name calling

Not only his rage, the whole insecurities issue too- he needs to reach a zen where he can be strong enough to cut off someone he loves if they are hurting him. He needs to learn to become a true Bairagi and become detached. 😆

The whole issue of his with Raavi was the dilly-dallying. If he had said rishta khatam on the night he got drunk, and stoically told Raavi in clear terms he wants a divorce, then all the nonsense pushing and junglee behavior need not have come into play(of course no TRP drama then)
