Hello..


My friend is unable to login into her account.. she is getting this error

That username is very much existing n is valid .. please ask her to retry with correct password .. correct email ID …. Use forgot PW option …



see tagging her was possible .
I can see she has entered her ID first letter in caps .. while the existing ID has all small letters .
As you can see in the tag

Nope I did all in small letters too and also correct mail id but it's not opening

Now I am opening via other browser I can't open through chrome

If possible please help to login through chrome

May I say something?

Clear browsing history, close all windows of chrome, open chrome again and try to log into IF again.

It might work.

Rebooting the device also fixes some problems.

Nope I did all of it still it doesn't work

Even I reinstalled chrome still it's the same 😐

At our end we serve the same standardised HTML to all the browsers. Since you can login from other browser its clear that your account is working fine.


Sometimes there are weird plugins that tries to change the content of the pages arbitrarily and without users knowledge. Your username is perfectly ok and should not get invalid username message so with my initial assessment the browser is trying to add some special character or you have an extra space somewhere.


Please share a fresh screenshot of the page where it shows the login error so that we can help you debug the issue.

After sending a PM, if the sender refreshes the page, a message pops up asking whether to submit the form again or not. If the sender presses continue, the system sends the same PM again to the recipient. I did that few times before my friend pointed this out to me.😊

Most probably, that could be the reason why you see multiple copies of the same message. You can share this with the sender.
