There is a book called Parallel lives of Nehru and Bose

Try reading that

It would change the perspective that Gandhi thrived because of Nehru and family

Nehru and his family are the sole reason India were not taken seriously all these years!! The man as a prime minister proposed India is a non violent nation let's remove army and just keep a paramilitary force. Does it make any sense? His blunder of trusting the bloody Chinese led to the butchering of the Indian soldiers by the Chinese and the rape and massacre of women and men in Aksai Chin area. His daughter was responsible for attacking the Golden Temple and led to her brutal death and almost Sikh genocide incited by Congress Party. His son interfered in Sri Lankan Civil War and to support the Sinhalese and not the Tamil people who were fighting years of injustice and torture at the hands of Sri Lankan government. His helping the Sinhalese not only led to his brutal death but the inherent hate that Tamil people carry to these days for North Indians and Delhi politics. His daughter in law was the unofficial PM during the Manmohan Singh's era and 26/11 and various Terrorist attack happened and Indian government in response did nothing. This family is just opportunistic and traitors to this country.

It was a fight for language

Bengali if spoken properly is a language so polite and respectful that I can just gush about it

Just like Urdu

But the point is people don’t know the language at that depth

Even I didn’t initially

But this lockdown I started watching movies and reading novel and it just blew my mind

I have grown to respect the language more than I did 2 years back

The day youngsters realize this, they will come back to their roots

The 1971 war Pakistan government decided to wipe out Bengalis completely from the face of the earth to exterminate the Bengali language and culture. Men would be massacred and women would be raped and made pregnant so they could carry children of mixed heritage where they brought up teaching the Urdu language. Exemplary Muslim tactics since the days of first Muslim conquests of Iran. I really respect the South Indians and Marathi people as they have so much pride on their own mother tongue and even their youth are so much into protecting their own language and culture. Bengali youths on the other hand disrespects their own language and culture and call it crass and classless and instead prefer English. The Bengali intelligentsia's worship of English poets and novelists are something I hate very much. We Bengali's have world class poets and novelists who when compared to their British counterparts are so much better. The Bengali language is the sweetest language in India and has a history over a thousand years and compare to that British is a new language.

This is a political debate which I would avoid.

But I would still say that Congress didn’t do all good I agree, but it did good to a certain extent to bring India to where we are now

Well yes they introduced new policies and created schools , colleges and universities and created the basic foundation of the famous Indian education system. The basic infrastructure was also done by them mostly. But that is very miniscule and it was basic necessity for a government to do but their blunders are far more than their good works. Congress needs to give leaders like Sachin Pilot and other young leaders the chance instead of Nehru-Gandhi clan.
