It’s a well known fact in families that have seen first hand or heard stories of marriages being ruined when meddling mothers enter the girl’s sasural or starts to remote control their daughters on how to live their lives.
Miserable mothers who have regrets about their own lives are the first in line to enter the daughters post marital life and mess around. AC has planted the seed of suspicion in Malini’s mind about Adi. Her resentment towards DC and Imli has fueled her need to making Adi and Imli’s life a living hell. Malini is her willing puppet.

Malini was never one to think for herself. She always needed Dadi, Dad or Mom to hold her hand or save her from a situation. She admitted that she cannot ignore what her mother says. That is a recipe for disaster especially since someone like AC hates Adi’s status and guts. He is not someone who will dance to her tunes.

Sita Mother saved Adi and Tripathis from Malini. She is a different person based on her anxieties for the day. She always knew deep down that Adi did not reciprocate her love. It was always about getting what she desired, he was her arm candy, a famous patrakar.

Yday when Rupi and Pallavi confronted Malini about wearing the saree Adi chose for Imli she stumbled and couldn’t give an honest answer, bec there wasn’t one. Her intentions were poor and that was obvious.

Aparna stepped in and said let’s go and she followed like a well trained child not an adult who could think for herself. It’s scary such a helpless person could influence young minds at college.

Malini lives in a make believe world. Anything in reality that challenges that freaks her out. She didn’t want to hear her father had a child from an affair, or Adi was forced into marriage to Imli. She is like a flower that wilts in a gentle breeze.

She is not cut out for marriage.. Her husband will have to constantly convince her there’s nothing to worry about. AC has planted the seed of doubt she had about DC also in Malini’s mind. And truth is people live what they know from their past experience and environment.

KC was the only person who was blunt with Malini about her choices and forced her to face the truth. I don’t see how she gets back with him after their fallout. He knows she still harbored feelings for Adi. It will be another disaster unless she gets prof help.

Caught in a situation she can’t cope she either shouts like AC (what she knows from her past) or cries helplessly looking for someone to save her (AC has had moments when she pleads with DC to give their marriage a fresh start). Like mother like daughter.

Malini has taken misery into the otherwise happy T house. She cats shadows where she goes. The sooner Adi and Imli send her back the better for all of them.

No idea what the future storyline is, but she’s trouble wherever she goes. Sad situation 7nless she wakes up to who she is.

Even after that disgusted look she was talking about gett8ng back with him. She is gone so far down the dark hole that she doesn’t register the disgust and still tells AC she wants him back. Like AC she likes to manipulate and control people.
