Who is a better filmmaker?

I liked Farhan's DCH and Zoya's ZMND

Farhan

He makes the same style of films as Zoya but she has this arrogance abt her filmmaking which seeps through her films (the “this is how it’s done watch and learn” vibe)

I find Farhan comes from a more genuine place and there is more honesty in it

DCH>ZNMD>Gully Boy>Lakshya>Don>Luck by Chance>Don 2>Dil Dhadkne Do

Overall, Farhan is a better director.

Dil Dhadke Do is such a good film, i dont know why it gets so much hate

I love Dil Dhadakne Do but I wouldn't call it an amazing movie as compared to the other movies listed. I would definitely say it has a more repeat value than others but there is nothing about it that really makes it standout. I would say it is a good movie and it achieves what it strives to achieve.

Farhaan.

Their filmography is comparable. Zoya is actually more prolific in filmmaking. But I think Farhaan edges out because of Don. To take on a movie that is a beloved classic, starring such an iconic heavyweight in the industry, and give it your own spin takes chops. Yes, a HUGE part of it is SRK but the rest of it is what Farhaan gave SRK to work with.

Both are thrash 😆
