Well said!! This is what I meant when I said Raavi doesn’t know how to talk. Jab bolna chahiye she doesn’t say anything. Her friends like her, are judgmental bullies. Yes, that’s what’s it called when you keep making fun of a person.

I have actually been watching the episodes with decent LUs as stand alone episodes 😂.. Will watch them all in one go when I have time after

Not to be mean or demean any group of people or individual… I suddenly feel like they are trying to make Shiva “gawar” in the truest sense of the word. It’s a very demeaning word but it comes from somewhere and has a specific definition.

Just in context of the show, I feel like earlier we used to wonder why this word is even used for him. It feels as if the makers are trying to justify that. His hairstyle, the way he talks to Raavi in public now (reminds me of stereotypical portrayals of autowalas or taxi drivers who openly insult their wives. It’s wrong but we have seen films and shows that portray this), him complaining about English, etc… Yes, this could be his insecurity speaking but to me it doesn’t make sense. This isn’t the Shiva we were introduced to post leap, during the haveli track, etc…

I understand his specific references to tel masala, kirane ki dukaan, etc…. Because Raavi did use this words when it came to Shiva.

But I feel a weird shift in writing with how things are going now. This was the same guy who stood up for Raavi on their wedding by saying “her name is Raavi”. Now Raavi not defending him is a whole other story and I have issues with her characterization as well. And yes, they are in a different phase in this point in time, But these past few episodes, I have noticed a change in Shiva’s character. Specifically today and the way he spoke to Raavi in the scene with Dev. I can’t seem to pinpoint it exactly. Maybe I’m reading too much into it. Would love to hear other perspectives.

I honestly have no expectations from shiva or dev but krish and raavi really disappointed me today - they just let rishita fall and get up by herself? wtf?? what is wrong with this family?

BTW Krish heard the conversation and he seemed affected. The friends are not only insulting Shiva now, they are doing it in front of his family members😔 I would have felt terrible( Assuming it were about my elder brother, and my bhabhis friends were commenting, I am not sure I would have said anything 😔 Inwould have just be super annoyed with my bhabhi I guess)

Krish looked so nonchalant. At least Raavi was shocked but I expected her to at least show basic humanity. I don’t know if it’s bad editing but it pissed me off so much!
