Yes, he didnt go to college and wasn’t too mindful of hygiene earlier. He didn’t dress perfectly as per society standards. But that was about it. Sometimes he would say things in a very blunt way but I always thought Shiva was always shown to be well spoken when necessary. For him it was always a choice to be who he is. He chose to not be like Dev or Gaumbi but has the tools and resources to showcase that side, should he choose to. I remember us saying that’s the biggest difference between him and Kathir.

The insecurity track could have been much better written. I feel like the writers are trying to make him more like the OG character. But it doesn’t make sense. When you grow up in a house where individuals like Dhara, Gaumbi, etc… live it already puts you in a different group. Not to mention, Shiva was always very intelligent. I would understand him feeling insecure but the others laughing at him made no sense to me. Shiva always seemed like the guy who could fit in if he wanted to but it was his choice to not give importance to such things. His insecurity could have revolved around Raavi. But by emphasizing on the wrong ideas, they are changing Shiva’s character. Watch them randomly say he was forced to quit school.

I don’t know if what I said makes sense. But I still don’t understand why these friends were acting the way they were. It was so OTT. Them sensing something is wrong would have been fine. Even Sneha’s comment I can understand because she knows Shiva and Raavi has spoken about him that way. She was wrong but this is just plain bad writing. Did anyone else feel this way 😆

Yes yes 100 times yes.... This Shiva isn't the one they have shown at the start..

@bold suited his character so much better since they have shown his character as that from the start. He's always veen shown to be confident in his skin and that was the most likeable quality he has.

As far as friends go I'm not too sure why she even has such friends... Im really confused about that.

There is more but I'm at work so can't stay too long.. I will be a bhoot mandaraoing here though.

And no one looked concerned aside from Raavi. It was awful! Dhara will never understand how these two young women feel because all the men in her life have given her utmost respect! And I’m happy for her! But Rishita did not deserve this! Her father is awful! Her husband is unreasonable and doesn’t even bother to listen! Even Krish didn’t react! The moment she fell made me so angry and upset 💔

Everyone's social media decisions are different. I stopped posting on my own social media accounts 3.5 years ago, and despite starting medical school, celebrating a 25th birthday, I kept all those moments private and personal. Perhaps Raavi wanted some privacy, especially after the entire town watched her be abandoned and essentially sold off to the next available guy at her marriage. Even if she doesn't accept Shiva as a husband, why can't she accept Shiva as someone who is part of the Pandya family? I'm not asking her to say Shiva is the best husband in the entire world. I'm just asking her to tell her friends off and remind them that laughing at another person is straight up wrong and unnecessary. Rishita does so much, always saying, "He is my father!" despite everything wrong Janardhan does... why can't Raavi share a few of those traits?

Why is every character somehow a single emotion? What happened to multifaceted characters

They don't necessarily need to be harbingers of doom. My husband doesn't like more than half of my friend and barely anyone from my maayka(long story- Think Rishitha ish dynamics minus the 80s villains). He feels some of them are either judgemental or just plain weird 🤪

Raavi just needs to open her mouth and clarify with Shiva- even if they are friends, they can have different mindsets, needs and priorities as her. Just because they want to be one way, she need not blindly follow. But it is good to see their perspective also sometimes, as an outside observer.

Remember having the same conversation with my husband 😐

Raavi's friends appear only to create more misunderstanding between Shiva and Raavi. I wish Raavi defended him in front of her friends. I dont think misunderstanding will be cleared in this trip. We will see family rain sequence in next episode😆

Don't know what exactly is wrong- the GauRa story is justified. Trying for a baby when there are complications is extremely emotionally,physically and financially draining. I have seen many many cases among friends and family of couples struggling to conceive. I have seen IVF treatments where the wife has to administer painful injections on a tighth schedule. And it does'nt work many times. The amount of tears and heartbreak for both husband and wife is gut wrenching 😔

I guess Prema's point of going to doctor is a major sore point. Even I am not able to connect with GauRa because of that 😐 I wish they had shown them going to the doctor for atleats a couple of months(even without Suman and the brothers knowing), and had the doctors say conceiving is difficult. After they had lost all hope in medical science, if they had done the mannat, then I would have been all for it. Sometimes the leap of faith is necessary.

But the writers directly jumped to the mannat. Nothing wrong with that per se, but it feels like thise kids that never study throught year and just the day before the exam they pray and bargain with god to give them a miracle. You normally don't sympathize with such kids. 😐 Do all that is in your power to do, before you lay down hope before god 🤷‍♀️ Atleats that is my belief.

This is so true! Having faith and belief in God and mannat is not wrong, but they also need to make their own efforts along with that -- namely taking medical help. Which they haven't done.

I'm sure we will get scene of them visiting a doctor soon though, since PS spy must have seen our repeated hospital rants 😆
