Since IMMJ was continuing with rankings, I thought we continue on the list till we stay in Top 10..

Since the first page says it's open to usability and user experience suggestions, I would like to point out couple of pain-points while using IF.

It's just the recommendation to IF development team:

I was wondering if there could be a separate section on main forum with these off air shows with active forum rather than those being in Archived.

They can just be listed in order of last post or activities for these shows.

Currently, we need to click More Shows on channel, go to the Archived in case of shows off air long ago, and find it in list set in alphabetical order... Like that is too much scrolling and loading for a show like, specially for Shaurya aur Anokhi... Even IPKND requires lot of scrolling.. And quite many shows are going off air - Tujhse Hai Rabta is already off air, Namak Issk Ka and many more are heading for closure...

Of course this isn't helpful if the forum aims to make fans move on and close the forum activity to close it, but if IF aims to encourage fandoms for old shows, it will be helpful. I did take good break from IF after Ek Mutthi (EMA) forum was closed, and that's my pattern - or else in 14 Years of membership I should have been IF Addict or something by now 😆 - So, I just come around for some old shows till I find something new.

-------------

Other than that there are bugs that while writing post from phone, emoticons does not let me add lines or backspace letters. I will kind of screenrecord the bug next time and post it here... 😆

Thank you for pointing this out. Just few days back I had a discussion on this with Shruti and the same thing was suggested and it is in our long ToDo List.

Have moved it to the top of the list and have it done soon.

We have made the changes.

Now we have 3 Tabs:

On Air - Shows that are active .

Off Air - Shows which have gone off air but they still have active Forum

Archived - Shows which are off air and their forums also is locked.

Some shows which has recently gone off-air will be moved to that list soon.

Is there a way to retain the formatting done in Word file when we paste it in the reply box? Usually all the formatting is erased even when we paste normal, paste as plain text also gives the same effect. I remember few years ago we could retain the formatting (text colour, size and fonts, even words italicized or underlined are gone🤔).

Also could we have 3-5 font face options at least?

It is cumbersome to edit multiple times and sometimes the colour changes don't show up in the posts.

When we format in Word it brings in lot of unwanted CSS that makes the page heavy. So we normally suggest to format the text using our text editor.

As in the reply box?

How do I sit and edit 5k+ words in there? Not feasible.

I understand the CSS part but could we at least retain the bold, italic and underlined parts?

Neha, instead of doing bold, italic, colour and underline parts in Word Document, it is better to do it directly in the IF reply box. It will be there for you handy to post wherever you want.

Yes, here is a point, for writing in the Word, there is no need of internet, but for IF you need internet.

Then, do this, first login, open reply box, and you can log out if you want, but it will be there, write in it, do all changes you want/ need and then login and send it to yourself or to any place/ person wherever you want.

We will check if we can make it work.
