The way Adi treats her now is definitely not like a friend....as you said, he walks around her on eggshells like he's scared of her....toh phir toh wohi emotional abuser waali baat hi hui....he has been emotionally abused by Malini for a long time and these are the lingering after-effects of it that he tries to manage.....by giving her token dosti declarations to mollify her so that she is distracted enough to not demand other things he can't give her and then try to suicide over that again.

And baaki despite all this, he refuses to back down from his truth about Imlie....that is a hard line in the sand for him no matter what his lingering emotional abuse trauma from Malini may be.

Exactly.....wohi toh irony hai that people try to label Adi-Imlie toxic when the real toxic relationship was that of AM😆.....and they still continue to be toxic.....mainly cuz Malini is a fundamentally emotionally abusive person who abuses anyone she is in a relationship with.....boyfriend, husband, sister.....sab ke saath abusive hai. Anyone who is a fundamentally decent/good-hearted person at their core ends up being reeled in by her emotionally abusive tendencies cuz she likes to prey on the sympathy of good-hearted people.

Pehle I'd felt grossed out by Adi casually offering up his room to Malini.....lol but ab I'm thinking yeh bandaa puri duniya se sanyaas lene ko tayyar hai as long as Imlie iske paas ho😆.....ghar, kamra, gehri dost ka guilt....sab peechhe chhod dega ek jhatke mein.....saara sansaar is moh maaya for him except his pyari Jhalli😆.....Imlie nahin toh iske liye duniya mein kisi cheez ki value nahin.....kamra kya cheez hai....lol

What a silly trivial excuse. AC got humiliated at BBC as judge.. So Maa beti decided they will take down Adi(who insulted MC) and Imli(who made AC lose face in presence of society wales) and hence all this rubbish attempt to burn down. Adi and Imli marriage. Once again the joke is on her with mujhe taras nahi chahiye but taras /daya hi milega isse ke kifni bechari hai haha ek kamra tak nahi ghar walon ne ghar se nikaal dia ab kahaan jaaye toh let's keep her here rofl.. if you do think this way toh haan adi ka lame dialogue starts feeling normal but as you said they still need to be careful caz things do look ek dum insensitive and bizarre so I would want them to cut the crap a bit on visual side and just get to the point...

I think Adi-Imlie consider Didi as that beemar Daadi Amma that you have jiska khayal rakhna padta hai. Unhe khush rakh ne ke liye unki haan main haan milani padti hai, unhe baar important hone ka dikhava karna padta hai, but ultimately you just listen to their talk with your ears closed & live the life you want regardless of what the Daadi Amma wants🤣.

Adi barely even registers Didi as a woman now🤣. Just keeps on giving her token gehri dosti reassurances jisse woh khush ho jaati hai & forgets her the next min😆. Ise koi farak nahi padta ki Didi ki life main kya ho raha hai unless it somehow impacts Imlie & consequently him.

She loves her more genuinely but their still that unsaid barrier that reamins between them because of her being Adi's wife once & also because Didi ki taraf se genuine connect nahi hai. So Imlie gets concerned if Didi gets hurt or troubled & she wants to then make her happy. But she has come a long way now from her previous Didi jaap. Now she doesn't need to manage her own guilt & believes Didi to be happy without Adi, so she doesn't dwell on Didi ki khushi that much.

While Adi-Imlie hardly give thought to Didi unless she does something to get their attention desperately, Didi on the other hand revolves her life around Adi & consequently Imlie. She gets some high even from Adi's token baatein of concern without him actually doing anything😆. She starts building up castles in hawa over his supposed care while he barely even registers her presence in his life except as an emotionally weak person who also happens to be his wife's sister & his ex.

Didi ko yeh log seriously lete hi nahi aur hum bechari audience ko Didi ke scenes aur ghatiya harkatein dikha dikha ke makers humara khoon jalate hai🤣. Didi ki wajah se Adi-Imlie pe impact tabhi hoga when they know ki Didi still wants to be with Adi. But Didi ko yahi baat dikhani nahi hai Adi-Imlie ko. Adi ko batana nahi kyunki phir she can't be mahaan in front of his eyes & will lose leverage over him in whatever relationship that she imagines to have with him. Imlie ko batana nahi kyunki phir usey kaise dikha sakti hai phir ki maine tumhe apna pati daan main diya😆.

Adi ko toh koi khaas farak padega nahi even if she tells him that she loves him & wants to be with him. His answer would always be Heck NO😛. Imlie ko guilt ki wajah se farak pad sakta hai. But lagta toh nahi hai ki Didi abhi tak Imlie ko batana chahati hai khud se ki she wants to be with Adi. She is still doing her 2rs. wali ghatiya harkatein to cause some mu aur to do Imlie ki chop. But Didi isme bhi apni Amma ki tarah fail hi hoti rehti hai. Dekhte hai kab tak makers want to stretch this phase of Didi without it impacting Adi-Imlie seriously. Kuch na kuch contrived mu will be shown by the writers as an impact of Didi ki leechad harkatein & phir Imlie trying to leave, maybe followed by her NDE courtesy maha kanjoos AC who has major problem with parting with her wealth.

Our naive Imaliya is chasing a fantasy....usko behen chahiye par yeh kabhi really behenein nahin ban sakti cuz Imlie being Adi's rightful wife is going to be a permanent wedge that bitter Didi can never fully overcome....waise bhi jiska dil shuru se hi chhota and banaavti tha, woh kya pyar karegi Imlie jaise special soul ko......I can only hope Imlie kahin aur se aas lagaaye behen waale pyar ki.....Didi jaise ghatiya logon se nahin.

I agree with everything you say about Didi. I just do not trust these guys enough to not make it about her as well. Even when that policeman was praising Imlie, iska sadiyal sa chehra ghusa diya. I do not know if they feel that agar ladki ko hero nahin mila toh she needs to be repaid for that loss somehow. They give her such tardy dialogues that actually get used to bash Imlie by her fans as well. They try to keep a good section going on with the abuse off television too. They tilt the balance quite a bit in her favor despite letting her fall flat. Do they even realize they are showing straight-up harassment by her or not? Fully sober itna gira rahe hain use.
