Ramayana is written by many authors like Tulsi Dasji, Krittivas Ojha etc!! There are almost 300 versions of Ramayana!! Somewhere I ve read that Urmilla didn't sit for 14yrs!! But the original is written by Valmiki Muni!

Valmiki and Tulsi Das are the original ones, as far as I know. One was in sanskrit and one in hindi, called as Ram Charit Manas. Others are just adaptations I guess.. don't know how far they're true.

Legend says she was the child of Zeus. Through out the illiad the gods take sides Coz they have their own interests and connections to certain players in the war. I felt so bad for Hector all he wanted to do was protect his family and state. Another character I found interesting was odesseus and then the whole story of the odessy and his wife Penelope stuck back home ruling his home and raising their son. Helen and her husband were just a pawn for his brother agamemnon but his own issues with his family were his downfall and in the end no one was the Victor after the fall of troy.

Yes Ram Charita Manas is written in Awadhi language!! Others are adaptation!!
