I really, really like his character arc (recent episodes ka weirdness out aside)- largely, we've seen his disposition (and mental health!) improve without changing his core characteristics- he was never a bad guy, his moral code has always been largely solid, but he'd been carrying unbelievable amounts of baggage, guilt and desperation- and above all loneliness, and he'd made anger, aggression and a larger than life ego a defence mechanism, all of that manifesting as some of the truly atrocious behaviour we saw him engaging in in the beginning. That's why the facade would crack when it came to matters related to Amma and Kirti, because they were what he was desperate for. When it comes to matters related to those two, he's never been able to use his brain, right from episode 1. Now that carries over to Pallavi as well, plus with all three in his life, he doesn't put up that same defence mechanism as regularly and consistently.
bold: I know this is part of a serious conversation but reading this line reminded me of a comment I read right after Amma and Raghav's reconciliation which said something like "teen deviya nachengi Raghav ke sar pe" which ngl is kinda true🤣🤪
Jokes apart, I wish they'd have done something similar for Pallavi's character arc. Something more interesting than Mandar to add more depth to her character🤔 Maybe then there would've been a balance between people's love for both leads
