Although the winner is pre-decided, I think all 6 deserve to raise the trophy together in all honesty. They've stay on throughout these months. It would make no sense to declare one winner now. And its absolutely not fair to the other five.

Sorry, but I don’t subscribe to this view. One has been consistently perfect, one has been consistently slipping & one has shown consistent growth & so on. Though I love them all , clubbing them together for the trophy will actually be unfair to some. It’s like cancelling the boards, putting everybody in the 90% slab ; it will be unfair for those who have worked the whole year to earn that 90%.

I didn’t want eliminations. Couldn’t bear to see anyone getting evicted at this stage. So far, so good. Now let it take its course to completion. Regardless of whoever wins, they will all have the title of II finalists. 👍

Sorry Danish fans, his singing should be banned. He completely murdered sajda, a happy sensuous wedding number turned into a loud funeral number of cats mourning dead cats. Sorry, but he screamed 50 percent of the song with screaming alaaps.

He may be a great guy but horrible singer. Worst, karan's invite to arunita and pawan was downgraded when Danish too got it. Sayli and Nihal deserved it way more. Compare nihal's pleasant singing to danish's unbearable screams and think how dharma films track record of excellence in music will be impacted. What were karan thinking ?0

Actually except SMP, Aru and Vaishnav all were fresh faces for me. Anjali ..I have heard her before but not much. Just recollect her face. She has a solid classical base ..too good. Will do wonders as she grows

Just wanted to point out that the challenges a newcomer faces over a recycled one is more, there is an added advantage of experience if not age, by the time a newcomer settles it is time for elimination whereas the experienced has surged ahead, the challenges that Sireesha face will be more in singing a Lata M song than Arunita that's her home turf she cannot be challenged that's her strength the newcomer will have to start from scratch if is a regional contestant same with Nihal by the time he gets a hold of the language Pawandeep is miles ahead in the number of songs.

Anyway it is a TRP hunting show and the channel is interested in business who cares for the grasping abilities... jmo

Well if it's a matter of reality show experience I agree..they have been through the grind and know how things work, how voting trends go etc.

But language..I don't know. A person speaking or singing in Hindi since childhood will certainly have an edge over the ones who don't. And that can't be equalled in the duration of a show.

That chha and cha, dekh and dek etc. ka difference rehta hai..we can hear Nihal's accent. will overcome with time. As long as singing is good it's well n good.

Set me wondering too how KJo gave him the contract after that sajda number & how nihal didn’t get.

Although I didn’t want eliminations, if at all there was one, I would’ve wanted Danish to go. Even shava shava was mediocre - the verve it got was due to the energy of the composition, not his singing.

Even Samyak he is a multi talented guy was he given any chance to show his talent, Pawandeep has already exhibited his on a another show that is the advantage and who knows they might be singing the same songs sung earlier .

When a regional singer signs up for a natonal platform they know the drill & should be mentally prepared to work that much harder. And it’s not just the language, they will most probably be trailing in the vote bank esp if they are from the south. It’s a challenge, but you rise upto it. After all it’s a choice they make. This can’t be levelled.

Reg newcomers Vs known reality singers, there is a need to draw up specific criteria. Previous winners at national levels should be excluded. Instead they can have Music ka maha muqabla, Jo Jeeta wohi… type of shows which brings together the finalists or top runners of the various shows. Now that will be a level playing ground.

Yes.. this would keep those winners in public eye and also work as a source of income..coz we see many winners disappear from audience eyes and memory within a year..new season, new winner.

At least one good thing about idol is that it backs its talents upto some extent. Goes to certain lengths to assure that they stay in public memory.

Also they should do away with eliminations for few starting weeks..that way all of them will get opportunity to showcase their talents and start at equal footing. No involvement of audience votes so no interference from previous fans, family, friends, relatives, mentors etc. Do away with judges marks too..

And then after few weeks when everyone has got ample opportunity to showcase their talents let audience decide

Also he was good in boys trio..maybe KJo took into account overall performance and not just yday episode. Also Danish singing style suits the kind of music in his movies
