“Mrs Virk”

I know everyone has practically given up on the show and trust me, I’m not very optimistic when it comes to itv but this show has me borderline obsessed so here are my two cents on the episode:

Fateh pointedly keeps calling tejo “his wife”, “mrs virk” or anything along those lines that asserts his place in her life. She usually plays along with him, but it’s ALWAYS him initiating it.

This “dinner date” started off with fateh appreciating tejo but not being perceptive. He left that rose and it didn’t go unnoticed by tejo.. she didn’t bring it up but we know it hurt her.

Fateh is furious with jasmine not because tejo suspected anything (he claimed that it was just a way to appease her anyway) but he called jasmine out for hurting tejo.

The number of times he said that she doesn’t have a brain, this isn’t your old fateh who thought she’s a “jhalli” and melted at her puppy face. The pre-wedding track fateh let her get away with anything. The current one was pissed as hell.

I genuinely think that this track is like a cleanser for fateh. Any of his pent up feelings are being addressed and he is seeing jasso for who she truly is without the rose tinted “ishq” waale glasses on! THIS is the real jasso for him.

Also, I LOVED maachi. Her taunts should’ve been treated like a wake up call for fateh and everyone else on that table.

Random observation, another jasfa meetup/date gone awry! 🤧

I also think that Fateh needs to understand machis words. That Jasmin left him at the alter, and she had said Canada is the most important thing for her. Just because she burned her passport doesn’t mean that it’s done there. What are Jasmin’s goal in the future, he needs to know that

His words my wife...Mrs Virk....will come like a haunting once whole thing is revealed .Tejo will realise how fake they are and how idiot she has been.

I want Tejo to know it all before Jasrik happen. So that she can hate F to core.Tejo's hatred will be his biggest punishment coz I know he always wanted to be in her good books right from day one.

How smart of Fateh to give dinner Lollypop to his wife so that his road to late night calls is clear. Really ! So cruel to talk of her like some hurdle in his Jasfa dates 😒.

It's so pitifull of Tejo ,I want F to be same pitiful.

Exactly... he is also quite protective over Tejo but he has yet to realise the consequences of his actions and how this ema will affect her.

feel bad for her, she will remember this 'mrs virk' addressing after the whole truth is out

He flinched when maachi reminded him of that. It was like for a moment, he had forgotten all about the hurt and humiliation.

I think they’re building the revelation up in a way that would make him regret it more. Simran, jasrik, pregnancy.. anything.

Righttt!! He has always been very protective of her, even when they were just friends. I think he knows the impact it would have on her and is just hoping that she never finds out. That terrace hug where he says, “I’d never be upset with you” felt like him claiming that he’d never have a reason to be mean with her.
