I saw the story of Surkhi Bindi and it is 100 times better than udariyaan. Unfortunate because that is what they said the show would be like.

At this point I am not even thinking about redemption, I am just thinking that as an actor if a character is suffering so much toxicity first they wouldn’t be able to perform 100% (which you can see in the episodes) and second they would leave the show because they also need to be sane.

exactly, I have seen the movie and I had thought that this story will be so much more.

exactly, I actually like that movie and I had such high expectations from this show because of that movie magar nahi. ITV ki mentality kese they can let go so easily lol

Watch kaala sha Kala, surkhi bindi and angrej they are good as well. Even Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh is decent even though it is a remake of a Marathi movie. Which is a cult classic.

It's no where like surkhi bindi there that girl had an aspiration and worked to achieve it and her husband was a good guy. He wasn't a vella fukra like fateh. It wasn't only baate kaam sanata. He helped her with her dreams he didn't destroy his identity in the name of love. This show and the movie have only one similarity that is Canada. Which again is a dream of many Punjabis.

I know. I wish UD was more like Surkhi Bindi and less like UD. They could have chosen that path in initial episodes instead of Fateh's stalking and ibadat dialogues

After Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai, watching the other versions doesn't give the same feel.

And I think this redemption has already started as I think someone said yesterday and Isha in her live had mentioned how she is not like Jasmin in real life. And she also ships FaTejo. So trying to ease JasFa into FaTejo

Yeah Ankit seems done with the show. The makers have seen the trolling. Tbvh it's a bit too much, so they should end this track as soon as possible.

Hmm yeah. Smart of Isha to do that but bichari got bashed for that.

I know none like Mukta barve and swapnil Joshi they are masters of their craft. And the nuance of mumbai and pune is real so hence when they made remakes it couldn't fit the bill. Even now the new kriti sanon movie Mimi is a remake of a Marathi movie called mala aai hvaychay. It kills the originality they should instead dub the movies. They are making a remake of the Marathi horror movie lappachappi that had pooja sawant one of the best horror movies made in india, I would say the best no fake over the top spookiness it was damn good but with a remake with nushrat Barucha they will end up ruining the originality.
