Hi guys, here is today's update. Just like "there is no rain in spain these days,especially in the plains", there is not much in Grahasti today.
To recap, Veera orders Simar to go on a honeymoon and in the same breath tells her not the reveal to Rishi as the former wants to surprise him. 😡. Its Simar's pag phere and she needs to go to her mum's house. So, Veera tells her to get ready. Cha and Chi are in deep discussion. Chi thinks Veera has lost it because she wonders how a honeymoon can be a form of revenge. Cha explains that the intention is to sow seeds of discord between Simar and Rishi. Rishi ,Cha thinks will not relish wiping his wife's tears on their honeymoon.
😕So, Rano and Gunnu come to fetch Simar. And lo and behold our Rishi conveniently forgot a file at home and appeared like a jack in the box to pick it up. He tells Rano that he will come in the evening to fetch Simar to which there is an endearing banter between jiju and sali, when Rano says that they will not send Simar back unless she really wants to go back to Rishi. Now this was an avenue for Simar to blush prettily but well, she botched it by looking lost.😕
Rishi is in Balraj's office with the manager guy who briefs him about pending payments and bank instalments. To this poor Rishi remembers Balraj wanting him to take complete responsibility of the office. He talks to Balraj's photo saying that he feels inadequate to do this job and wonders how Balraj used to manage alone. To this the manager guy says, "Oh dear boy! we have full confidence in you. I will manage the show till you sort out the problems in the house" (now is smell a rat! Is this guy in cahoots with Veera?)🤢
Amrit has cooked all Simar's favourite dishes and the women are waiting for Simar who is by now looking pale, tired and most uncomfortable in an intolerable bright red sari. She has nice hair though!😃 which if cut and styled well will make her look ahem! By then, the creditors come in a group and tell Amrit that they have come for their payments that were due the previous week. Everyone is lost for words but Amrit takes all the three girls to the office and they go through the files in vain, realizing that they are clueless. Amrit laments that they dont know anything about the business or accounts and Sohni says that their dad's account needs to be transferred into their name for them to be able to operate the account. So, Amrit requests the creditors for some time explaining about Balraj's unexpected demise on the wedding day.
Rano tells Simar that its good she went to the office with Balraj and now she can run the show atleast, to which Simar talks about the honeymoon. B3 pounces on her calling her selfish for this. Amrit and Beeji console Simar and advice her to do what Veera wants her to and not to reveal anything that happened at the Khuranas. By then Rishi is back to pick his wife up and they set off. Seeing Simar pensive he tells her that he is with her through joy and sorrow for a lifetime and she must not worry.
Back at Rishi's home, his highness has changed into the familiar WHITE kurta set (the one he borrowed/stole from Balraj). He discusses his concerns about Simar's grief with Veera who convinces him that a honeymoon will help her get over her sadness and that he has to make her go with him as its his responsibility to keep her happy (blah and bladerdash!).
The phone rings at the Khuranas and Amrit says "kya?"
Precap: Simar says there has been an accident in the office and so maybe the honeymoon plan needs to be cancelled. To this Veera sternly retorts "koi zaroorat nahin!"
Performances and comments:
1. Rishi was good during his conversation with Balraj's photo in the office. He manages to portray grief, lonliness and ineptitude in those few minutes with aplomb. 👏👏. Rishi please go shopping and please remember to buy night clothes too!
2. Amrit was good during her conversation with the creditors where she shows courage, honesty and a willingness to try 👏
3. Ahh! Simar. You tie my tongue in knots. I am at a loss. I realize you have been asked to be "sad girl private limited" for a while, but you look clinically depressed and completely uncomfortable.
