I have said this many times earlier and I will say this again - being part of this thread makes me feel empowered as a woman. All the discussions we have on Pallavi and otherwise too. In a world guided by deep rooted misogyny, we have chosen to be unapologetically in love with a flawed(who isn’t) and beautiful female character. That’s empowering ❤️

I think every girl/woman should come across this poem at least once in their lives! I still remember the day my aunt made me and the other girls in my family read this one out loud, and it made such an impact🤩 And then my English teacher made us read this one on annual day as well.

In January this year my bade papa was murdered by his cousin brothers over property dispute and it's been a ruckuss at my house since then. Cause after him there's no man left in my family and hence omly the women of the house have to run for court hearings and stuff.
