New Promo - My View

As expected Samrat is back, I have been waiting for his return and actually many people said that they will be back to the show once Samrat is back because the story was getting stagnant. This will clear the whole Vaada thing once and for all

I actually don’t get the reason why everyone is disappointed with the promo, They have established Virat’s love and the title “Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein” is about Virat’s love for Sai according to the promo

Pakhi had to be in the promo, no? Samrat is her husband and he is talking about divorcing her but the story is focused on Virat as it is about HIS brother and HIS ex, do we not understand the plot? How can Pakhi be absent when she plays an important role in this particular relationship? The show began with this plot

FL gets most importance in the show, every track is centered around her, there is no parallel track on the show, it has always been about FL

Her birthday, her college fest, her accident

There was only one parallel track of Pakhi Samrat in the beginning but that’s about it, everything after Samrat’s exit has been about FL

Is there a parallel track? Even DevKit wedding, Marriage anniversary celebration was about FL

The promo was centered around Virat and Samrat, this is an important relationship for Virat who is ML, last time he had a track around him was when he went on a mission. Sometimes he is entirely missing from a track

Point being, every show has parallel characters and not all tracks are about FL but this track will have in the most pivotal role moving every other character. Everyone was saying how happy they are because FL will have a brotherly bond with Samrat

Totally agree. Even if it looks like a Virat and Pakhi related promo, it's all about Virat's love for Sai, that's gonna be focused on throughout this track. Since Samrat doesn't know the reality of SaiRat or even Virat and Pakhi, he's saying that he'll divorce his wife, so that Virat can fulfill his responsibility towards Pakhi. And just coz Samrat is asking him to do something, Virat obviously isn't gonna do that. Because he loves Sai, and his feelings are far more real and intense towards his wife than a two three days infatuation during a yoga programme.

This track is definitely gonna be focused on Sai and her Rat. So fans don't have to worry.

Yes exactly what I mentioned, how Virat's love which was burnt into ashes last time, will bloom completely now. Then the love was Pakhi now Sai.. The love will bloom with hidden issues on forefront..I think the major issue is overdose of Pakhi and the content of voiceover particularly.

Voiceover addressed Virat’s love for FL, it was about how they can’t always be happy in love, now past has returned like a storm, what will Virat do now that he is Ghum in someone’s love. It was a well thought out promo

Pakhi came when Samrat mentioned divorce and Sai came when Virat was asked to do his duty, once again it is love vs duty

Rekha took most of the promo then it was all about Virat and Samrat, Pakhi came in picture to show Samrat’s perspective and Sai came when they wanted to show Virat’s perspective, both women were just there, they didn’t show their perspective and the promo wasn’t about them

Unlike other shows I have watched, fans of this show are quite lucky because everything is about Sai and they know Sairat is endgame.

One show I watched where they killed FL when the show was about to end because they wanted to give more importance to Parallel lead, heck FL wasn’t allowed to go to an award function, they sent ML and PL as a couple there because FL was new in industry and PL had more experience.

Last year in YRHPK to give importance to PL they made her surrogate for lead couple, she had tried to kill Mishti and was horrible to her throughout the pregnancy but they never punished her or revealed the truth instead she was the best sister who gave birth to Mishbir’s baby

I am no stranger to favoritism by PH but here I don’t see it because it is a fact that the whole show is about FL.

Can totally understand how some shows force the parallel leads down our throats and the actual leads rarely get the importance they deserve. Luckily Ghum isn't like that. We see Sai and even Virat everyday, the tracks focused on them. Yeah it's true that the other character is given more screen space than wanted sometimes. But still the importance has never shifted. Its Sai and Virat's story. Pakhi is shown just coz she's supposed to be that big hurdle in their union. Hope that hurdle issue gets settles once and for all with this track.

It was a show on ColorsTV titled Bahu Begum, when channel decided to pull the plug and end the show in 2 weeks they killed Shaira.

It was not a very popular show the parallel lead was probably the most popular among the cast, she played a negative/overnight positive character who was MLs best friend, basically obsessed with him and attempted suicide to guilt trip his wife into divorcing him

It was ITA (I think) where PL and ML were sent as a couple and they performed on stage as husband and wife, FL wasn’t allowed to attend

I agree. Pakhi has to be there because it is about Samrat and her and not Virat and Pakhi. And, I'm happy with the promo. We all want this promise to end and only then will Virat and Sai will be able to move forward. And, at the end of the promo Virat looks at Sai and the voice over says Virat is Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and Sai is shown.

Ohh .... I saw few epi of the show but did not know other stuffs....

Phew..... It's not all that glitzy offscreen like we may assume.....
