Same here- I used to find Ashi and Ranveer the most compelling characters, but my oh my, how Tia grew! Also, IDK- there was this phase na, where being 'girly' wasn't cool? I loved Tia for unapologetically embracing her girliest side!

They were all so realistically flawed..all of them.. even Pri and Meher.. Only Vrinda maate was the ITV female lead character types mahaan 😆 One of my fav episodes was the one where they brainstorm to decide on a name for their band 🤣

ashi- bimbo massacare, hollow protoplasm, bimbo phobia🤣

Tia- Aroma, pink bunnies🤪

Ranveer- Moksha, Ret😃he copies Tia Puhleeeez🤣

Yup, the only thing that threw me a little bit in that show was, I wish they'd been portrayed as a couple of years older? Like college and not school? But anyway, that's a tiny thing- the way that show sketched each character in such a 3dimensional way was wonderful. That's why they're remembered so fondly even 15 years down the line.

That episode is one of the best ones!! I lost it at pink bunnies.

Yuvi was also someone who grew on me- shuru mein I hadn't thought I'd like him, but he proved me wrong in no time.

But as the show progressed I started appreciating her character. She has a very simple, feminine strength to her that very rarely finds representation in media ❤️

She could be silly, but she was honest and genuine, kind and loyal ❤️

Tia was silly, spoilt and vain too but Shweta Gulati made the character so loveable.. somewhat like Jennifer Anniston made Rachel so loveable for the majority despite of her being selfish and vain.. I somehow always liked her.. and couldn't wait for Ranveer and her to get together..though I loved their banters too..Tia was a very generous and friend to Meher and Pri even when they were mean to her..

And she was very true to her character, she never tried to be different from what she was. Be it her girliness, her morals, her sense of friendship. I too loved her friendship with those two (what was the term again? Tia's angels?)

"Tia Ahuja hona koi aisi waisi baat nahi hai" — she believed that till the end, and made us believe it too ❤️
