What does it mean by - Na chahte hue bhi purana pyar farz ban gaya hai ??

Purana pyaar now farz is the unwanted part or just this new responsibility??

If it was only farz shouldn't the voicover say - Na chahte hue bhi jab koi farz ban jata hai........ something like that??
