Ek, my classmate -one big introvert and a nerd whom I usually talked to started having feelings or something for me. All my classmates together were waiting for us to click. That guy became super conscious har convo awkward hota tha yaar ki kya bataoon. Whenever we talked, all the eyes were on us. They used to tease and tease, one day I snapped back at that guy and asked him straight about what was going. He accepted he had feelings, when I said no; he didn't speak to me for a month. After that he came asking to be friends again. Damn, even after then some guys pushed him towards me; especially during clinicals and medical camps. They kept irritating me with that talk.

For my classmates, "I'm leading him on"

This spread like wildfire in my batchmates, my senior and juniors too. One senior guy asked it out straight and called me names for leading him on; I shouted at him in frustration and accidently broke his bp apparatus. Uss class ki woke Naaris charged in at me. It was a horrible fight.Khadi hogayi mein Dean office mein. It became a huge problem. My guy friends beat that senior black and blue in the hostel. It became a senior junior problem. After that I never looked at any specimen in my college.

They are still believing that I'll accept him one day. 🤪

This is the most frustrating na? Just because you're friends with a guy, and he develops feelings, you must too? Kyun yaar? And then all that crap about 'leading him on' and 'nice guys get friendzoned' Ugh.

Similar experience once- guy went as far to ask me to my face, ki teri problem kya hai- I'm goodlooking, rich and Punjabi? What else do you want? 🤪 And lol, some of my own friends- "don't play hard to get, you must be liking the attention na, at least be honest with us" Har tarah ke namune hain duniya mein.
