Raghav's Redemption vs. Pallavi's Redemption

So I am curious as to why so many people think Pallavi will have to redeem herself after trying to help Mandar regain his memory. Someone even compared Raghav's redemption of his mistakes and said Pallavi could not redeem herself after this track. Why is that?

From Raghav's redemption track, this is what I remember: him saying sorry, taking care of her when she fell ill, then she leaving for Kolhapur, him vowing that he'll give her happiness. And, then he tried going to that haunted house multiple times but was insulted by VD. That's when Pallavi was like forget it, they aren't my happiness, I guess.

And he did all of this because he wronged Pallavi in the past. Not once, but MANY times! He put her in front of a speeding truck, burned her sarees, bought her saree shop (that provided no financial benefit for him) so he could destroy it, blackmailed her and forced her to marry him. And STILL, Pallavi forgave him and even empathized with him now when he shared his troubles.

Now, for this Pallavi-Mandar track, Pallu considers Mandar to be her friend. She literally told him that too. She is trying to make him feel comfortable in his own home and when that couldn't happen, she took him out. She is trying to help her friend out. She doesn't see him as her "ex husband" more than she sees him as a friend. She respects him, which is why she is civil with him. So, why does she need to redeem herself? I don't see her doing anything as wrong as what Raghav did. So, I don't believe she needs to redeem herself to the extent that Raghav had to.

I do believe though that she needs to acknowledge Raghav's change in behavior. She's his wife and she needs to understand her husband. Raghav is so blatantly obvious that he does not like Mandar but the problem is he doesn't outright say it which is probably why Pallu isn't understanding it. At the very most, she owes him an apology for neglecting his feelings, but other than that I cannot see her needing to redeem herself to a greater extent.

I only remember one word Pallavi. Hold hand. She is my wife. Not eat food. Pallavi to come get out of room. Will eat from her hand. Will take her back when have DNA report. Goes to RR mansion. Claims her to be his wife and come to D house. When refused sob story. Telling pandit I m married. Calling and messaging anytime. Coming to home if not able to talk on msg. Emo blackmail to wear bangles. Mirror drama.

These r just wt he did in front of her. Still she thinks everything is hunky dory and rainbows and unicorn. That is y P's character in show is termed the words for which victim card is taken out by many.

I agree, relatively speaking he has wronged her pretty severely. I hated the blackmail wedding which is why I wrote another version of it.

I think the difference here is now they're supposed to be in this loving marriage and so her mistakes real or imagined take on a different significance in that role. Don't get me wrong, I am pro Pallu (and also pro Raghav), I just want to see these crazy kids be happy together.

One thing I appreciate with this show is it burns through tracks quickly - so it's rarely boring, but I realized that in show time, Mandar has been back a week maybe? Three days for the DNA test and then another few days of that stupid 7 day challenge. And in that time we've had Raghvis ILU confession, a ring, a new phone, a celebration, a photoshoot, a tracker, and all the Mandar nonsense.

So I'm sure eventually Pallavi will catch on but it's literally been days that she's been trying to help D fam, just to put things in perspective. I wish people would cut her some slack.

We have seen a lot of things since Mandar has come back, it hasn’t all been negative for Raghvi

I agree with everything you said, I just want these two to be happy as well

pallavi will catch on but at least in ITV land it will take a few more days, episodes for us

The villain entered a little over a week ago, which is in fact still not stretching it at all in ITV terms, I think the story is moving pretty fast and they are just trying to create some scenarios which will help Pallavi understand what Mandar is doing when she looks in hindsight

Today/tomorrow pallavi will at least get to know what Raghav’s stance is regarding Mandar, that’s a huge step and whether or not she sided with Raghav it’s going to make an impact in the future episodes

Now watch the show for only pallu pure friendship with mandar and raghav as supporting husband 😂😆

He is the biggest sinner in the show who has caught the angel pallu in his cage. So his only redemption is to support pallu in her humanity endeavours

What I want her from this whole track is to leave her Andra parivar Prem for Deshmukhs and use her brains

This is the same reason she fell in Raghav's trap

She signed the shop papers without the installment feed and he used it

He knows how she is and how she can be manipulated he has done it so he fears it

He used Nikhil to marry her

That same way Raghav can be used as her weakness

I want Pallavi to wake up and walk into anything with open eyes and brains

Yess Yess Yess.....Exactly what I said in another post. They have made her to look so dumb and clueless. She is not even a bit vigilant at the moment even though she has heard and seen Mandhar do and say such things that make her feel uncomfortable and even Aai told her indirectly to focus on her marriage and leave Mandhar because he shouldnt get used to her which regardless of her love and trust in her marriage, for health reasons, she should not interfere even when he asks. If she wants to be polite she can easily make up an excuse like im cooking right now, maybe tomorrow, or I am out with Amma or something so she wouldnt be refusing but instead she is being polite as according to what the doc said, he is fragile so she maybe doesnt want to worsen his health.

The one thing they messed up was the mirror scene when she sat there hearing his stupid dialogue about their marriage and didnt say a word. She even moved so she could fulfill his memory, I mean seriously.. Her Aai had to throw the mirrow. Even Aai has figured out a bit as to what Mandhar is up to but Pallavi still hasnt....

Pallavi redemption track for Mandaar track is such a joke 😆

I agree with your words. This was a much needed post.

Raghav got a redemption track because he did many injustice and wrong to Pallavi.

As far as now the only fault in Pallavi's side is her blind trust and caring towards Mandar. She have made clear many a times that she is caring for Mandar only for Aai Baaba and sake of humanity. She even talked out loud that Raghav is her husband and the one with whom she wants to spend her life when Mandar is her past who is kinda her responsibility till he gets his memory back.

I am telling once again Pallavi don't need a redemption track as she never wronged anyone or done some grave mistakes like Raghav did.

Anyway I am happy that Raghav told about 7 days challenge even if he is late. Now I hope Pallavi will work hard to solve his insecurity and make him feel safe.
