I think I’m getting attached to the Dev in my story 😆 Honestly, with all the characters, I, getting attached to the ones from various fanfics. The show is merely a shadow of its former self. I can’t find anything to look forward to. Rishita is honestly the only character I like on the show right now.

Dev on the show is so hard to like. There didn’t even bother to develop his character and show us what really goes on in his mind. Raavi is slowly headed in that direction. I think you should make your own Dev… as in what Dev could have been had the writers done justice. I would love to read that ❤️

I 100% agree that this show is a mere shadow of its former self. The unwanted comedy tracks, excessive use of YKB, illogical dragging of certain tracks but no proper closure for other much needed tracks is honestly getting to me. I wish the tone was similar to the initial episodes... where the storyline was sensible with bite sized amounts of comedy sprinkled in, where characters questioned each other for the decisions they made, where there was no obvious power/age struggle...

Likewise, Rishita is my favorite character in the show as of now. Shiva and Raavi's characters are slowly becoming ruined by the CVs lackluster writing... Shiva should not have this much doubt over Raavi's feelings and Raavi should not be this dobi... Dev meanwhile needs to have a solid character storyline. I want to know why he rejected the American offer. Is it because he has a business idea he wants to implement? Or is it because he's afraid to move to a new country all by himself?

I've already created new Shiva and Raavi in my own mind, so I guess it wouldn't be too difficult to create a new Dev 😆

I wonder how the netflix season will address their story when it comes lol i think dev has always been the wallpaper brother for me lol if he wasnt around it wouldnt matter lol rishita as a standalone character is great her different pov to the pandyas her approach to things can help unbrainwash the younger set especially raavi who grew under this weird thinking lol As a romantic couple devta dont interest me but to show different trajectories of life choices they can be interesting with dev taking a job in another city but still being close to the family and rishita adjusting to the family but also opening their eyes and minds to other ways especially the younger lot. Also her pursuing a career in anything at this point would be good too lol
