Not it is normal and deeper, why do u think, it's not normal. He wants to marry her, he said clearly if he marries someone else then it's unfair with him, that girl and for bon. He is 31 yrs old man, he knws very well what marriage means, he accepted bon in all the ways as he knws she is grown up girl now & has all qualities which he wants in his life partner though he made his mind that might be they can never be together but still he will live with her memories only.

i liked how makers hsowed ani expressed his feelings to vj unkowignlty as bon as bon se kahbhi apne man ki bat nahi kehta
