my mom and dad's friend group only had sons and all of them were uncontrolled and bratty and their parents said zilch to them

I used to feel sad that my parents would yell at me publicly if I acted out but after seeing them - I feel lucky that I wasn't raised like them and can behave appropriately

I completely agree and relate to this 🤗 I stopped going to family parties to avoid seeing such awful parenting. 😆
