Read through the last few pages and here are my two cents:

Its ITV. Very rarely do they show full blown baby tracks and take it to delivery and birth (unless the show is ending). The route they prefer (as do many American tv shows) is having the FL become pregnant, only for an unfortunate incident to cause a miscarriage. A track involving grief is shown (though it’s not always done with the sensitivity it requires) and the idea of a baby is never brought up again. Done and dusted. On to the next track.

In this case, I would prefer adoption or surrogacy via an outsider but only if GauRa really want children. If Dhara decides she doesn’t want to be a mom, so be it. If she does want children, I would prefer one of the tracks mentioned above. What makes me nervous is the way ITV handles such tracks and the messages they give out. What I am worried about is how such sensitive issues will be used for cheap drama. The concept that a woman without children is incomplete appalls me.

Having said that, I don’t think any of the three actresses would agree to play moms on screen. At most we might get a pregnancy track that will be cut short with an accident. I understand it’s tough incorporating babies into tracks and constantly filming with them (even if they are using dolls). I really hope they show GauRa visiting doctors and put this story in the background. As in they are embarking on this journey of trying using help from professionals and one day hope to become parents. I really don’t want Raavi nor Rishita to be involved in any way.

Very well said. If they go through surrogacy and Raavi/Rishu has miscarriage, they all will blame them for their carelessness vs understanding their pain.

+To add to your argument, this is COVID time and I don't think they'll bring babies or kids under certain age on sets. So we won't see the two being parents yet. They truly brought this track much earlier than they should have.

Onlyy very long time running shows like yrkkh show a proper full term pregnancy and delivery.or else they take a leap and there is a 4-5 yr old kid.its otherwise its rare for itv to show the journey of pregnancy and childbirth.

I feel they will show dhara dealing with some complications and becoming pregnant.ultimately suffering an accident.then the issue as you said will be brushed under the carpet.

The show has to complete minimum 1.5-2 yrs before they deal with babies.

Yep I agree. If they are heading for a leap, shows will go through with the pregnancy. Otherwise, it’s very rare unless of course the story demands it.

I see it playing out exactly the way you said it. She will become pregnant but unfortunately will not be able to carry the baby full term to delivery. After that, babies will not be mentioned again unless the show runs past 2 years. In my opinion, I don’t see this show running anywhere close to the OG. Max 2 years so I believe the show will end with the bahus becoming pregnant. Or a leap where Dhara and Rishita have babies and Raavi finds out she’s expecting. That’s ideally how the show will end. Right now, it’s just being used to fill up episodes with drama. That’s all.

Thanks. Ugh I really hope they don’t take that route. If either one is blamed, the person/people doing the blaming would go beyond redemption. It’ll be a huge mess!

Agreed! We won’t see any of them being parents anytime soon. They are honestly just using it to fill time which is a shame considering they have so much to tell. This track should have come after ShiVi’s confession. Right now, they should focus on the conflicts DevTa and ShiVi are facing.

My 2 cents on surrogacy, which not done right could backfire on the makers.

If Dhara is able to conceive on her own like Dhanam in the OG that’s the best thing to happen. If physically she is still good, but unable to conceive, next option would be IVF.
If Dhara is not physically able, then surrogacy or adoption is the way to go. I do not approve of Raavi or Rishita being a surrogate mother, especially Raavi, as she is a virgin and not physically able. You can only be a surrogate mother if you had been pregnant before that disqualifies Rishita as well. I do not think in real world they will even let it happen. But in ITV and in Pandyaland anything can happen which is sad and incorrect😕If at all they are adamant that they will show surrogacy then they have to choose a surrogate from outside.

If Dhara is not willing to go through any of this, ITV can show adoption, as there are so many children in this world waiting to see a good day with no one to attend to😭

As I said in my first post this morning, I seriously doubt that younger actresses Simran and Alice will even agree to play pregnant.

I want to see post confession Shiva so badly like, chup chup ke table ke niche romance and all 🤣🤣 it would be such a treat to watch
