I don't think hit shows ka specific formula hota hai agar aisa hota to sab log uss formula ke hisaab se show banate aur hit karte . Matlab Kuch baatein hai Jo sab channels follow karte hai but Kuch na Kuch to audience pe bhi depend hai ( main purely trp audience ki baat Kar rahi hu )ki audience ko ye pasand aayega ki nhi kyunki Kahi baar sab formula use krke bhi show hit nhi ho pata.

Bakwas idea🥱.Neoni audience weekend mein kuch alag dekhna chahte hai inn regular fiction shows se alag.Waise bhi 5 days Mon-Fri toh fiction shows milta hai he humlogo ko so why there is a need of fiction romantic shows also in Sat-Sun.In Sat-Sun fiction shows hoga bhi toh sirf supernatural/fantasy/historical/crime shows hona chahiye since audience weekend mein sirf yahi genre ka fiction shows dekhna pasand karta hai along with films/reality shows. I am taking my family example jinko films nahi toh reality shows/award functions/supernatural/fantasy shows dekhna pasand hai during weekends not any family drama/rom-com/youth/romantic etc. fiction shows .Mujhe bhi weekend mein English films/English GEC shows/Cartoons(shinchan/doraemon/Kiteretsu)dekhna pasand hai not any fiction shows during weekends.Sony ka reality shows esliye work karta hai because they donot get much competition from Sab,SP or Colors TV in reality shows.Audience aise he adapt ho gayi hai Neoni so ek romcom/family drama/romantic/medical drama show will not work in weekends.Aise genre ka fiction shows will definitely flop very badly during weekends with below 1 TRPs🤷‍♀️.

Jab rajan anupamaa leke aanewala tha tab i was 200% sure yeh show top karega bcz uss time iknew ki yeh AKKK jesa hoga ditto so thats why i was so sure ki yeh work karega

But yahi surety mujhe romantic show on weekends pe bilkul nhi hai bcz there is long gap betn 2 cobsecutive episodes.....mostly anthalogy romantic show work karega like teri meri love story but not continuity romantic show

B - The biggest example is SNS2 where they are using each and every trp trope but still its not working and why so ? Because there's nothing unique about it. The unique factor is must for each and every show these days tabhi audience aayegi.

Yhc ka unique factor thaa single mother and rockstar lovestory, Ghum ka unique factor thaa farz ya pyaar, Imlie ka unique factor thaa ek gaon ki ladki jo gawaar nahi rehna chahti, ps ka unique factor bhaiya and bhabhi caring for devars like their own children and Anupama ka unique factor thaa middle age housewife standing on her own feet. Ek saare unique factors the tabhi audience ne dekhne start kiye ye shows aur aaj ye shows ki rating jo kuch bhi hai its only because of the unique factor.

Anupamaa typical trp hit formulae pe bana hua show hai (bcz unko baaki remakes se pata tha yeh superhit concept hai akkk nd sreemoyee )

Same with ghumlie, sns2 etc.

Then there are kundli , kumkum etc jo bhi ekta ke typical format pe based shows hai

Agr last 15 yr me truely kuch out of box work kiye huye shows ginogi toh aise gine chune milenge like naagin, bidaai, yrkkh , balika vadhu (iknw yeh shows bhi ab typical hai but uss time sirf ekta shows chalte thy not this type of shows)

FYKI Raj TMLS didnt worked only because of anthology series. Continuity hi work karegi because the story will be long and intriguing.

Bro they might not be unique factors for us but for trp audience they are. Humari soch trp audience ki soch se kahi zyaada updated hai but ye bhi toh dekho inn saare shows ke initial concept saas bahu toh nahi the na. Matlab audience comfort zone se bahaar toh aayi atleast.
