Why was Sirat introduced in the first place? Was it only TRP or was it also because of ShivIn's breakup?

Sirat becomes Simran who has long hair instead of short. Lol! Why is that even important?

In short, Sirat becomes Naira and KaiRa begins again, instead of KaiRat. Maybe, to remind that she is Sirat/ Simran, she will say 'What my luck!' after every event.
