Mandaar will try to commit suicide? Man ! More emotional manipulation on the way.

Now that yesterday's disappointment has washed off, I watched the show with an open mind again. Here is my simple analysis for whatever it is worth

- Raghav has always been a lone wolf. He lacks the ability to emotionally open up to anyone regarding any of his problems. Of course, he has the macho strength and is not afraid of a brawl but he is very emotionally vulnerable. Even though Farhad has been his right hand man for so long he has hardly been able to open up to him regarding his feelings. The only person Raghav has allowed to emotionally advise him is - His inner self or Pallavi. Those are the only 2 people who have been able to breach the high walls around his vulnerable heart. This track hopefully will lead to Raghav becoming more trusting of his love and being able to understand the emotional manipulations of his enemies.

- Mandar did not do anything bad to Pallavi. He acted like a person who is trying to find answers to his questions and as such took her to the doctor who according to him was looking after him for the past 2 years. He very cleverly guided Raghav to where he is taking Pallavi. The goal of Mandar is to emotionally disturb Raghav with the thoughts of what is he going to do with Pallavi. Raghav did not run to Vikarabad because he doesn't trust Pallavi, rather he went to safeguard her as he has seen Mandar lusting over Pallavi during the puja time. So Mandar played a mind game with Raghav and landed the punch and Raghav was emotionally drained. This is very similar to how Ved(Lion) operates with respect to Raghav. In the first Lion track, Lion keeps on doing silly things like alarm in courier, sending the video of car exploding - all done to keep Raghav on the edge. His goal was to kill Raghav but all the mind tricks were to emotionally disturb him. Even during the Mandar accident truth time also Ved intentionally kept Raghav on edge by saying that he is going to disclose the truth of the accident to Pallavi. Ved does that because Ved knows Raghav in and out - He knows his weakness.

- Regarding Pallavi, I really hope if she comes to D house to nurse Mandar or whatever, she comes with her husband by her side. There is no way she should be forced to look for an ex when she has already moved on in life. And hopefully this will help Pallavi see the selfish people that Deshmukhs are - Vijay, Sulo, Manasi. Vijay was so ready to accept Pallavi as DIL because yes that is the toy his son wants. I really don't want any redemption for Vijay. It is better if Raghav and Pallavi don't maintain any relationship with Vijay but rather have relationship with Kaka, Aayi, Nikhil and Amrutha

- The main problem in the episode is the lopsided treatment of negativity. Balance the negativity with positivity and positive characters. Then it feels better to watch though I can't seem to shake off the Shark in the background effect of Jaws.

Yeah... A bts has come out with Pallavi and Mandar in the D-house kitchen (and she being quite normal with him) and Pallavi is in the exact same saree and blouse as she was in the pic which is kept in Mandar's room...

I’m wondering if he doesn’t want to say anything because he also doesn’t want to disappoint Pallavi without proof. Like if he doesn’t have solid proof (And he doesn’t. It’s his word against Mandar’s) then he may be worried about upsetting Pallavi when she’s already so worried and tensed about this situation?

I know he initially wanted to tell her but then stopped himself. Is it just his insecurities but also his need to protect her? He likes to get things done quietly, like with the whole Ved thing, he didn’t want to tell her at all bc he didn’t want to worry her. Even then she was almost at risk. It’s a character flaw for sure but just wondering if that could also be the reason.

Right, but it's not just a matter of her being hurt or disappointed by the truth. The prospect that she would take Mandaar's word over his at this point, nah. Not happening. But in this thought process, he's withholding information that can have a real impact on her wellbeing.

I was way more annoyed at Pallavi when I first read the updates this morning, but having mulled over it through the day, I think both of them are being equally stupid at the moment. Or rather, the writers are being stupid just to make this dumb challenge waala plotline work.

@bold- its not the same when another man who happens to be her ex-husband someone who she always spoke very highly of, who she now sympathesis with, is involved.. his insecurities are the reason for his self doubts.. Its not the same as her trusting him over her baba.. she saw how baba behaved with her own eyes but in Mandhar's case she has no reason to believe he has wrong intentions other than his words.. and I guess confession to ho gya but they hardly got time to build on that.. the trust factor.. the tuning, the synchrony, all that comes with time and experience.. they will get there..these are the incidents unfortunately they are having to experience to understand what it takes.

Agreed. Him withholding information as of now will have a real impact on her well being. Even if he feels for whatever reason that she won't believe him, at least his words about Mandar and that 7 day challenge will be in the back of her head. She will at least give a thought about it...

Even I was annoyed at Pallavi in the morning... But as of now, I too think that both of them are being stupid.

The writers indeed are being absolutely stupid with making both of them behave in a stupid manner just for the sake of this challenge thing.
