I am too loyal to season 1 & 2 to even consider this shit a part of KRPKAB. They can do whatever they want for however long they can.... But I refuse to have anything to do with it.

From my side it's final tata bye bye to this crap.

Will miss you people though 😭

No way do I consider this Kuch Rang.. no way are these people Dev and Sona.

I cleanse by watching some S1 episodes after this. Yesterday watched the Masoori ki kasam episode. Omg hilarious! Bijoy was so awesome "Chota nahi peete ho, mujhe sab pata hai, maine sab dekha hai!" 🤣🤣🤣 Dialogs were so epic!

Yes. I am indeed quitting. 😊 Since I am not watching anymore I doubt I would have anything to discuss. So.....😆 Thank you.... for missing me? 😆

Call me obsessive fan or stuck in past....or whatever....but I love the previous 2 seasons & I can not accept this new season as a part of that story. For me, Suhana is Devakshi's daughter, the bond that tied them together when they had lost each other. Over. I wouldn't accept any change in that. For me, Dev had grown up & learnt to value Sonakshi & handle things with calm composed way. I wouldn't accept that Dev is shouting at Sonakshi for having a freaking dream, blaming her for everything & can be mad at her because she visited her father. Nope. I have seen Ishwari grow as a character & realising her mistakes and had welcomed Sonakshi back with open arms. I loved the way Sonakshi & her bond grew in the last few episodes. I do not accept that Ishwari can go back to blaming taunting & belittling her so soon. This is not the KRPKAB 3 I signed up for. And this is not what I want to watch. So I thought instead of watching & then regretting it's probably better to not watch at all. If I feel like watching KRPKAB, S1 & S2 will always be there for me.

About Season 2 - I know many people don't like it either. But I love it. I agree it's a bit disappointing that Devakshi weren't in same frame after first 2-3 episodes because of the actors' conflicting schedules....but overall the story they wanted to tell impressed me. It was finite & it had a very clear purpose. That is to spread awareness. They actually didn't have any story revolving around Devakshi as Devakshi already got their happily ever after so they decided to use them to spread social awareness. Break some stereotype that taking care of a kid is not only the mother's responsibility, new mothers do not have to sacrifice their professional ambitions if they get a supportive partner & the right way to bring up kids is not to bury them under study pressure. While it may seem preachy on the surface but the way they showed Devakshi handling everything together had kept the KRPKAB essence intact for me. It showed they have grown up & come to understand each other & learnt to support each other, like true partners should. Season 2 solidified their reunion & showed they were indeed in it for the long haul. And I don't think Dev was mahaan or anything....he was taking care of his own children. That's not being mahaan. That's what every man should do to help their partners. For me it was more like Dev's character growth & him proving himself to be worthy of Sonakshi after all the raita he had failaoed in season 1😆

So along with season 1, I love season 2 too. But I despise this "season 3" for destroying everything I had in the previous 2 seasons. 😡 So of course I am going to ditch it & stay loyal to the original seasons😛😆

I wasn't here for long but I am doing the same thing. I can't deal with the terrible writing and the immense character growth being thrown.

I give up it literally gives me a headache everyday. I can't defend these characters neither to others nor to me. They aren't consistent with anything. So i am done. I'll probably binge it some night months or years later but I will not be watching it now to witness them burn one of fav shows for the sake of (honestly idk trp bhi itni zabardast AA rhi nhi hai. Toh idk why they are ruining it)

Loved Dev & Sonakshi's character so much in that season. Season 2 was a big let down for me. Except for the first 2 or 3 episodes, rest were filled with body doubles & it was grating to watch the actors speaking to the walls & doors.😓All they did in season 2 was to show Dev as a 'mahaan' person who took the decision to be a stay at home husband looking after the kids while his wife worked. It didn't sit well with me because for 7 long years during their separation, Dev didnt go to work regularly. He was too busy roaming around with his girlfriends. Vicky used to manage his business for him at that time.. So the makers making it seem like Dev was doing a big thing by sacrificing his career & taking care of his kids so that his wife could fulfill her career dreams, didn't resonate well with me at all.😓

For me, krpkab is season 1. It had a simple story told in a very simple & realistic manner without too much of a drama & with no vamp or villain but just some grey characters. And each & every character was flawed though to a varying degree .That was the beauty of the show..And now this season 3 feels like a different show. Cannot connect to any of the characters as they are all behaving contrary to their personality traits as shown in season1. And the less said about the writing & the storyline, the better it is!!

I would have loved to see Devakshi's journey without much interference from Ishwari. Her insecurities & how she managed to overcome them has been shown in season 1, so there was no need to repeat the same this season. The one positive thing in this season which I really enjoyed until now is Erica's performance in emotional scenes, episode 2 in particular. She was outstanding in that episode.

Frankly I don't know how long I too will continue watching this show if the writing doesn't improve.. Hopefully, the makers will realize soon where they are going wrong & take immediate corrective steps to bring back the essence of the original krpkab in this season too.

Me too. For me, Kuch Rang ended at ep 388 of S1. It was very weird to have love scenes with both the actors not being in the same frame.

Also, as much as I appreciated the message they were spreading about men being equal partners, the execution wasn't very good. Also, Dev taking a backseat in his career didn't make logical sense to me. They are freaking rich, can hire multiple nannies since Shubh wasn't a newborn and most people go back to work by 6months. On top of that, they live in a huge joint family set-up, not a nuclear set-up where it's only the parents who have to take care of the kids and have to compromise.

But overall, they kept the essence of the characters correct and I enjoyed the general life without saas bahu drama.

Bold- I know you through your posts so I shall certainly miss both you & your posts.😄🤗

Agree totally with your take on season1. The growth in character shown by everyone in season 1 has been negated & everyone is back to square one in this season.

In addition to it, the storyline in season 3 of krpkab is so lame & illogical.😓

Bold 2;- Exactly!! Dev was fulfilling his duties & responsibilities of being a father & being a supportive partner to his wife. This is what every husband/ father should ideally be doing. But was there any real need to show him doing that as a stay at home husband? It was not that they didn't have any family support. Ishwari, GKB, Mamaji, Elena were all residing in the same house & were at home throughout the day plus they had keechu bhaiya or his replacement looking after the kitchen. Between all of them, they would have managed to take care of the kids while Dev & Sonakshi were at work. I am sure all of them would have been willing to do so. I would have liked to see Devakshi handling the responsibilities of their kids jointly like how most of the working couples do. That would have been really interesting to watch. Instead we get to watch Dev handling the responsibilities all alone. Also he wasn't actively involved in the running of his business during their 7 years of Devakshi's separation He handed over the charge of his company to Vicky inspite of knowing he wasn't capable/ competent enough to do handle the business. Hence I felt he wasn't really sacrificing his career to take care of the kids while Sonakshi worked. But the makers made it look as though he was doing a great deed in looking after his own kids, hence I said they were bent on showing him as Mahaan. Another reason is that I always felt that Dev thought that he was doing her a big favour by looking after the kids & the home front while she was working. This was my perspective when it was shown in one of the episodes, that on Sundays, Dev took a break from these responsibilities while Sonakshi took charge of the kids & the home front. At dawn, when Shubh was crying, he refused to even get up to check on him saying it was Sunday & hence Sonakshi's day to handle the kids. Then later on, when Sona had spent the entire morning in the kitchen cooking for lunch , Dev came in & told her he had ordered pizza for everyone for lunch. It kind of put me off as I felt Sonakshi too would have liked to have a day off just relaxing & enjoying some precious time with the kids instead of cooking lunch which no one ended up eating. Ideally both should have handled their responsibilities jointly on Sunday as even Sonakshi deserved a day off after an hectic week at work.

This is exactly my grievance about the storyline of season 2. It wasn't like they were keeping the kids in a daycare or a creche amidst strangers while they were working. Devakshi had so much support in the form of their family members who lived with them. There was really no need for Dev to stay at home to care of the kids..

I did watch the entire season 2 when it was aired but did not really enjoy it mainly because of the storyline & the body doubles. It was so apparent in the scenes that the actors were not in the same frame except for the first 1 or 2 episodes. I have seen most of the scenes of season 1 many times but I haven't felt like watching any of the scenes from season 2 again. 😅

Me too. Having romantic scenes where the actors weren't available and body doubles were used, it was just not done, since it was so obvious.

I don't really remember most of S2. But S1, I have seen multiple times. There are episodes which are worth watching again and again!
