Riston ke roop badalte hain in the face of adversity

Okay, by this week's standards, today we still got a decent episode, specially getting a lot of the inner thought & feelings of all 3 main leads. While that boded well for the Adi & Imlie SS, unfortunately we got to see the true colors of Malini again. So today I am going to be talking about them only (with an addition of Rupi di who deserves a shout out today) as the other characters honestly had nothing else to do:

• Aditya - So today was and Adilicious episode, with us getting to see just how much he loves Imlie - his wife. When the episode starts, Jugnu asks Adi what Imlie can do. Itni chui mui si ladki kar bhi kya sakti hai. We are taken into FB of how Imlie has saved Adi multiple times - from the first instance of her protecting him from the villagers (all those who had doubts if Adi remebered that or not, well looks like he does😆), to after that when she saved him during the Dil Se sequence. He tells Jugnu that if this girl takes it upon herself, she can move mountains (usne itne bade parbat ko pighal diya, toh koi aur parbat kya cheez hai, BS is talking from experience you see😆) and she can do anything. When asked who is Imlie to Adi, he simly says that karm se, dharm se aur kismet se she is his wife. So anyone who had any doubts, he does not care who knows, but he will proudly call her his wife in front of the whole world. Seeing the protest and Imlie hurt, he really wants to speak to her one lst time, as poor thing assumes that he will be sacrificed in the current sitaution. Bechara forgot that he will be needed for the full fledged drama coming up, yeh kahin nahi jaa raha hai😆. Anyway, later when Jugnu allows Adi to talk to his wife, as soon as he takes the phone, the first thing he calls out is Imlie - haye, Adi ne Malini itni badi chop kar di, ke mere kaleje ko thandak pahunch gayi. After Malini mentioned also that it is her, all Adi could talk about was Imlie😆. Adi kept asking for her well being and requested Malini to keep her out of danger and doing anything rash, as he knows she is capable of doing anything to save him. End mein we also got Adi's monologue (thank god for small mercies) where while he first wondered why Malini spoke when he asked to speak to his wife, but then realized that it must be difficult for her to fight battles at every end, that too all alone. Adi's monologue is starting to give me vibes of his want to be all sacrificial to let go of Imlie for her safety and well being like after his last NDE, so I am a bit worried how this will play out for him.
• Imlie - Today Imlie showed that she is "Imlie from Pagdandiya". After getting hit on the head, she stands up to the police and tells them that she is not going anywhere without meeting the minister. She is Savitri, who will go to the ends of the Earth to get back her suhaag. She decides to continue to sit on the dharna despite being hurt and the Jr T's trying to take her away. She continues the peaceful protest & succeeds in getting to meet the minister - apne bal bute par, without any connections. When taken to meet the minister, he instantly recognizes that she is the student who came state second (finally kisi ko toh yaad aaya ki kabhi humari Imlie state second aayi thi. I think bechari khud in dramon ke chakkaron mein bhul gayi thi😆). Seeing her dedication, the minister appreciated the fact that the current generation is willing to do so much for the truth and idolized and honest reporter like AKT. But unfortunately, he flipped and how, when he found out that Imlie was calling herself Adi's wife. When the kidnappers allowed Adi to only talk to his wife, she tried to convince him of her truth, but when you have a shiny and more prettier version of a lie in front of you, chance of you believing the truth from someone like Imlie will be very less. Imlie gets stunned that Malini was telling a lie to the Minister that Malini is Adi's wife and his only wife. Anyway, dejected, she gets escorted out by DC and loses the opportunity to talk to Adi. When Malini comes back out, Imlie asks her why did she lie to everyone that she is BS's wife. She explains to Malini that when DC found out that she is his daughter, he made her a lot of promises, but flipped after he came to know about her marriage with Adi. She is worried that Malini will also flip, specially after she was the one who apparently gave her the strength to fight for her haq. Anyway, after listening to Malini's reasoning, Imlie gets dejected that no matter what she does, no one is going to believe that she is BS's wife. We finally get Imlie's insecurities and how all this is playing into undermining her confidence in herself. Jo ladki sab se bhid padi, is now wavering after seeing that her own family feels that she is not enough to get Adi home. She feels that she has no bhramastra to free him and she should just give up everything and go home to wait along with the others. But then, thanks to Rupi di, Imlie realizes that she will never be able to forgive herself if she did not fight till her last breath to get Adi free, she decides to go to the Police station to find out more. In the precap also, we get a fierce Imlie, who announces that she will not allow them to play with her husband's life, so looks like tomorrow is going to another dhamaka at the police station as well
• Malini - Today Malini was showing her privilege in full form at every point. Be it at the beginning, where she was escorted by car to see the minister, while Imlie was hurt outside, or inside the house, where the minister was more interested in offering them chai than address the problem at hand. There also, DC had to be the one to initiate the conversation, after which Malini went on her spiel of being scared for Adi.. Anyway, when Imlie is escorted in as the leader of the protest group, Malini was stunned that Imlie was able to get to meet the minister on her own, with no help from anyone. She also gets stunned when the minister recognizes Imlie as a topper, showing that Imlie's identity can stand on her own, unlike others. Anyway, when Adi' call comes, she goes all haughty and takes the phone to talk to him. But then Adi calls for Imlie and she is brought to reality in an instant. She tries to convey to him that they are all fighting to get him out, but hearing him go on only about Imlie, just makes her mad. She gets so mad that when Imlie confronts her about lying, as usual she justifies herself saying that the minister and the public is willing to help as Adi is an honest & straightforward journalist with a bedaag reputation. If the world finds out that he has 2 wives, then all thes support will turn against him in an instant. As usual she uses every trick in the book to demean Imlie's effort, specially with the final nail in the coffin, where she tells Imlie to not do anything rash as that was what her husband has told to tell her. So today, Malini effectively tried her best to break Imlie down to suit her purpose of being known as Adi's wife.
• Rupi di - Today Rupi di at 2 places was an amazing support for Imlie. In the beginning she reminds the T family that despite everything, Imlie has proved that she can do anything to get Adi back when she gets to meet the minister. Second time around she is the one to give back Imlie her confidence. She reminds Imlie of her love for BS and that she needs to do everything to get him back - no matter how much the world is against her and what people think of her efforts. Today, Rupi di finally was the voice of reason to show Imlie that no matter what, Imlie needs to be ready to fight till the end to get her Adi bhai back

Today the setup of the fight of the 2 wives has been clearly laid out. Now we have to see how all this play out till Adi is saved and what happens after, as that is when the real fight will start.

For a change we got a really good episode after a very good episode so happy on two levels... C of continuity and P for progression.. dono aaj dikha aur mila

Today we get a stark difference between the way imlies world difference from Malini's and why aditya couldnt find love in Malini instead fell for a 19 year old..

Malini - she is sitting in an air conditioned car coming to meet the matri who knows Mr C knows.. so basically she basically challenged an 19 year old on basis of her background.. nothing on her own.. she has been on demeaning spree... Aparna aur Anu ne bol diya toh she is actually feeling like she will get aditya back.. she tried it last time.. imlie ko tak nahi dhoond paayi thi.. toh aditya toh bohot badi baat hai..

Matri ji se baat karate huye.. her words were.. since aditya is kidnapped.. she is very stressed... it was not about aditya it was about her... her face when imlie walked in.. as surprised imlie was.. malini was more surprised... a girl wo doesnt know duniya dari arranged for an dharna.. and managed to get appointment with minister on her own... that was shock not just for her but her good for nothing father...

she managed to hijack imlies conversation with minister.. managed even to get phone from mantri and speak to aditya.. when aditya wouldnt even ask for anyone but imlie she lost it... aditya ki reputation and national news and public opinion all one side.. that is immaterial.. what mattered in that moment was she was exposed.. she was in a place where she is not needed / wanted or desired.. thats why she just didnt lie to aditya (who no one knows if he will return) but also to imlie who wanted to talk to her husband.. she took that right away from both of them.. to save her face that she is soon to be ex mrs AKT and mostly to punish them...

Aditya -

Aditya loves imlie so much that it doesnt matter if their marriage is legal or not.. kyu ki karam se.. dharam se aur kismat se (thank u sita maiyya) imlie adiya ki biwi hai.. woh imlie jo ek pahaad jaise aadmi ko jhooka sakati hai toh parbat move karna konsi badi baat hai... jab woh apni pe aayegi.. tab woh police ko bhi chunaiti de degi..

Jisne apna kaam choose kiya bina parva kiye ki woh jiyega ki marega.. aaj bhi who ready hai.. but aaj he has last wish... and last wish is to talk to his wife.. he life.. his home.. imlie.. all he cared was her well being.. he explicitely told malini that be with imlie... dont let her anything rash as she will do anything for him.. aka take lathi from police... but that never reached imlie..

Imlie -

Ohh imliya.. bachchi... 🤗

she didnt let anyone hijack her efforts to get a meeting with mantri.. she managed to get everyone camed down even after being hurt.. that girl sis made of steel... but as mcuh as she can stand her ground on her faith and SM.. she values her relationships even more.. the abandonment issues do comeinto play.. thats why she is asking malini to be her constant in the chaos.. as she has no one... but she is putting faith in a person who can only distroy.. who can never build..

malini broke her one by one...

1. question her sach as imlies fight is injust to be called aditya's wife..

2. saying protest is happening because of aditya's years of work.. which is partially true

3. dont act stupid.. not rash but stupid.. demeaning her efforts to try to get aditya home..

4. he put rntire blame of rik to adityas life on imlie and her statement making weight of world fall on imlie..

this whole thing could have been done very maturely.. but we all we could see was a jealous woman tearing down another..

imlie questioned her self worth.. decision making ability even her love for aditya.. in mear span of few mins.. thank god we had Rupi.. who rightfully said... imlie will curse herself that she didnt try to her 100% potential.. and that imlie understood.. hats why that chandi roop in police station tomorrow..

I know i have written way more about malini than about the episode.. and i am sorry for that.. but the way she distroled imlie just got to me..

how petty you have to be to destroy a 19 year old girl who has more character strength than you..

It was a good one today as well and both ST N GM aced it again.

They are so attuned to each other that they can sense what the other must be feeling... and have total vishwaas on eo and the omnipotent SM.

It was a chest beating proud moment for Adi to state that Imlie is his patni... by deed, by dharm and by fate. Nothing can tear them apart and they will find their way to eo. Though small in stature, she is meant to move mountains and melt the hardest of the stone hearted folks. The college students who mocked her are ready to face the lathis of the police as she stands for a just cause.

Adi having the FB of Imlie clutching the sickle was awesome and was waiting to see this.. having to speak to M and having her convey his concern to Imlie, showing his worry, love for Imlie over the phone. It was good to see the CHOP and the jhatka for M here. Her illusionary world shattered.

His monologue was interesting and is it hinting at a separation of Adilie that lasts longer than a day in this case? ok whatever is being planned, would rather be surprised.. than watch a BTS.

Dd revealed her jealousy n true colors today. Dev was spineless as usual and stood like a kambha.

Imlie was the rockstar who succeeded in her attempt of meeting the minister on her own dham.. who recognized her as the state 2nd.. that was a nice touch. Her smile was beautiful and heart warming... a ray of sunshine amidst the doom n gloom. Then faced with the phone call and the inability to speak with Adi, the shock and disappointment..did not give into her grief tearing away at her and stood... M having succeeded in her sis give up her efforts and leave it to the moneyed n well connected DC.

I am so happy that Rupi is sticking around and giving her saath to Imlie, guiding her and encouraging her not to give up. It was tough for me to watch, imagine anyone in that situation... it would make that person give up and lose hope.. Well she was down but not out and Rupi's words picked up her spirits. The way she said let us go to the police station. ... was owsom... the tone, the expression were all so different and was superb.

Rupi's words and Adi's thoughts are hinting at something big here. A separation on the cards.... uff...

Precap was another towering act by ST and can't wait to see how the week's fare ends.

Didi ki jealousy and selfishness became even more evident for imlie to see today when she declared ki akt ki patni main hoon sirf mai. Usne dil se na kabhi imlie ko apnaaya hai aur na hi sacchayi ka vaasta deke imlie ko uski haq dilwaaegi. It has been a dhong from the beginning. The only thing she wants is to win possession of adi at all costs pyaar ho ya naa ho. Uske liye wo elder ts ko bhi zariya bana rahi hai.Cruelty hit a new low today. Didi showing imlu down in front of the minister as someone who stays in adis house , idolized him and developed feelings for him was 🤢. Heart breaking to hear imlu pleadingly ask didi whether she would flip too like dev did once he got to know the adilie truth😭. The stage is set for the didi prem to be smashed to smithereens. Lovely performance by st highlighting the shock , extreme disappointment and loneliness in the entire minister sequence. Star in the making⭐️.

Adi resolutely and passionately proving his love for his imlu through his declaration to the kidnappers was ❤️. Karma can be quite an equalizer and this was evident in didis phone conversation with adi where he repeatedly asked for imlu besides pleading with didi to ensure she does not put herself in any grave danger to secure his release.

Minister saabs flip after hearing about imlu being married to adi was reminiscent of the cruelty shown by mrs arora during the bbc track. He will be the next one to flip. I have no hope from the tripathis.

Imli is getting to see the real face of Malini’s selfishness and ease with which she lies without blinking.

The way Imli was with Daku Dev until she found out about him being her father. Imli will soon see Malini’s two faces clearly.

She dint know what to feel when her sacred relationship was termed so wrongly

She dint know what to feel at DD lying so blatantly.

She never had asked for her rights because she had always thought they were a losing game

That they were never meant to be because BS loved Malini

But then destiny showed it to her, all his roads always found their way to her

And that she was made to be his and his love was mean to be hers!

But look at her fate, even after all of this, she still had to conceal who she was or rather accept her truth being a lie when it was not and watch another woman whom she revered as her elder sister and who is her elder sister claim being the ONLY wife of her husband when she's supposedly moved on with another man!

It broke her when after and despite all her efforts it was said she was at fault. But then, she hadn't let off completely had she. She just needed a push and that was given by Rupi Didi.

When blood fails blood due to holding negativities, pushing away the last vestiges of lingering doubts about some sort of genuineness in their bond (if it's that even), a stauch support is family and that genuine feeling is a breath of fresh air amidst that suffocating feeling. Rupali today was just amazing. Their bond is something that I adore. Loved it when she said that Malini hehe.

Words and promises from DC are like fog. They blind you for the moment but they are all just misleading because he'll never abide by those and leave you stuck wherever you are when time comes to help 🙄

DD dropped to a new low and all I felt doing to her since the time I saw her bechaari waale expressions was to enter the screen and slap her left and right. Disgusting, pathetic liar. I haven't felt this much anger on her as I did today. Atleast AKT ne uska chop kar diya so that was giving thoda sa thandak to my kaleja!
