Jasmine is not a cheater. Fateh and Tejo are. They had sex behind Jasmine's back. While I know that they are married, but Jasmine and Fateh's affair started way before his marriage with Tejo.

Tejo betrayed Jasmine by marrying her jiju. What happened to the code of "sisters before misters"? Tejo didn't respect the code so why should Jasmine respect it?

Tejo is ugly. Jasmine is much more pretty. It makes sense why Fateh was and still is in love with Jasmine and not Tejo.

It’s more so about what is the intent of the CVs. Granted not all media has to be socially acceptable or morally acceptable (There are multiple shows across the globe about infidelity). But ITV, kind of like kdrama, always sets up good ML & good FL. It’s rare that they deviate from this. I just wonder then who is the true FL, and how they’re going to redeem the ML bc no one wants to root for him right now. It was hard to sympathize with SRK and Rani because they could've easily asked for a divorce from their respective spouses before they decided to cheat. Sure, they were unhappy in their marriages and fell out of love. Sure, they fell in love with each other. It all made sense up until they took each other to bed. Divorce lete, phir yeh karte, then it's totally justified.

Falling out of love with a good person is difficult to compute, but it's very much possible. For all intents and purposes, Fateh didn't even fall in love with Tejo (a good person), but what he did to her is not excusable. Nahi pyaar ho raha tha, Jasmine ko nahi bhula pa rahe the? Cool. Then leave Tejo. Don't string her along as you try and figure out which spouse is more capable of bearing the responsibility of a manchild-like husband.

Many people fall out of love and they just separate. For some partners who are still in love, it hurts at first but then it's better than to stay in a relationship which would turn anyone bitter afterwards.
