I had more of an issue of Pallavi feeling like it was her responsibility to help Mandar and her not being open with Raghav (although I don’t think this will happen anymore after their talk) and dropping everything at RR mansion to run to D fam (again, I think she’s understood not to do that anymore).

Yeah she’s super kind and willingly does as much as she can to help others. I have said before, she has a superwoman type of complex - she needs to be there for everyone. But it’s not her responsibility to help Mandar. I wish she realized that for her own sake. They shared but just a few memories together in comparison to his Baba, Aayi, cousins etc. He remembered her because she was obviously the last person he was thinking about on their wedding day. But that doesn’t mean he had this deep connection to her (clearly she didn’t - she herself has said this to others).

I consider responsibility and helping for the sake of being a nice person two different things. Responsibility implies a sense of duty. And I don’t want Pallavi to think she has any duties towards Mandar. This is not something she has to fix even as a daughter of D family. She can help sure, but her dialogue of “my responsibility” was what set me off lol. She’s taking this on herself - but no one has even asked her to. The doctor should not factor into her decisions, she is a stranger. Even SKB doesn’t care to bring Pallavi to the house. I hope he makes that clear to her so she gets that it’s not her Baba that wants her to help Mandar.

I don't know but I think this show has fans from all age groups - all the way from 13 to over 30. Over 30's understand the complexities of relationships and emotions. Younger audience have a one track mind and at their age they only see black and white. For them to understand how complicated our emotions can actually be is a bit difficult that's why the very young audience thinks Pallavi is wrong. I beg to differ. She is who she is, doing what she thinks is right, out of respect and care for a man she once married. She doesn't know what we know about Mandar. It's not easy to un-see him as if he just doesn't exist.

Raghav is a mature man, he understands this and the complexities around their marriage as well as his wife's so called family ( a family I personally detest). He has to hold his head high and walk her through this because it will be difficult and she will hurt, consequently, he too will be hurt but that is how things are in life....it's not a walk in the garden.

AAI Ka mujhe 50-50 isliye lg rha hai coz jitna AAI mandar ki so called memory track pr la Sakti hai utna pallvi NHI coz pallvi ki shadi to Kuch ghante ki thi and that was arrange marriage. Mandar was in Hyderabad and pallvi was in Kolhapur.

Also, what was Mandhar doing in the middle of a cat and dog rain out on his wedding day? I think he must be trying to escape from the wedding but he got bad luck being bumped by Sunny and Kirti.

Also, why did the hospital called Raghav to tell that Mandhar was alive and well and that his family picked him up from the hospital? Conspiracy much guys?

Loved that quality of Raghav. He always send someone with Pallavi whenever it was night time as he knew the risk for a young girl at night alone in road. He was that protective when he apparently hated her. Now to he is in love!!

I’m actually over 30 👵🏽 and I don’t think it’s about not understanding that emotions and relationships are complex. I think it’s more so about, how do you disregard the one you love for someone who you never loved ?

For me it’s really about what relationship is she giving so much respect to or that she has complex feelings about. Yes she lived as his widow, they went through all the marriage customs, so respect in general is due. But she had no feelings for him for her to care this much about him. I keep circling back to this lol. She spoke to him for 4 months, got married, but spent no time with him as his wife. Clearly those 4 months of video calls weren’t enough for her to fall in love with him. At most she’d probably say they were friends. Yes she had to grieve what could have been, but she knows she never loved him or had any deep connection to him.

And, it’s not that she can’t have respect for Mandar or care about him or even want to help him. Personally, I just didn’t care for how she almost neglected her current husband (in the these specific instances) and family when doing it because he hasn’t stood in her way about this. There was no need for her to do that. It wasn’t a life or death situation as her reaction (to skb calling) made it seem. She doesn’t have to give in when someone tells her to feed someone who’s not her husband.

Also, Mandar openly spoke about taking Pallavi back - in front of her. Idk how that wasn’t a red flag to her. He’s being possessive of someone he has no memory of and had no real relationship with. I think that made her uncomfortable so I guess I’d like her to just trust her gut instincts more. She seems to brush them away for the sake of helping him because she thinks she needs to.

But as I said in an earlier comment - I think her talk with Raghav made her realize these things that I don’t think she’ll be like that again. We already saw the change when Sulochana called for the pooja. The good thing about this show is that even when Raghav or Pallavi do things we may not agree with, they get back on track themselves.

Sometimes I wish they would’ve said she did have feelings for Mandar and she did miss him in that way. I feel like that would’ve set up an even more emotionally complex story.

I read somewhere somebody on this forum wrote that this track will be going on for 5 months? Is that true? So, does it mean that we will have to bear this Mandhar trying to get Pallavi as his wife for the next 5 months?

From what I know, the show got a current extension of 5 months. Sandeep (creator / producer ? I forgot but it’s his show) wants the story to go on for 2 years (read the updates from his live) and that Mandar is not going anywhere any time soon. So basically Mandar is the current antagonist. And whether it’s about actually making Pallavi his wife or just taking Raghav down, we’ll have to see.
