I posted a counter argument in that Pallavi character thread.

As far as Mandar pretending is concerned..same angle happened with Sunny..Pallavi always found him fishy...and Sunny showed her real face but she had to deal with it alone because Raghav and Keerti couldnt see it. So she played some tactics to postpone keerti engagement and protect Raghav and Keerti.

So now same thing may happen with Raghav seeing Mandar true face..Pallavi cannot see it so Raghav will have to do some tactics and protect her. Parallel. Nothing wrong with it.
