Tejo's feathers have been deliberately chopped again and again by her family.

A girl like Tejo would never choose a guy like Fateh . It's quit obvious she was never in love with him coz he is nowhere an ideal guy in her books. Yes his romantic ishque rhetoricals did tentelise her as she herself is romantic at heart but her practical mind always gave her stability.

I actually think she wouldn't really mind Fateh in this situation but wouldn't choose him here. This is minus the potential jija-saali ema btw. Even with Jass all Tejo wanted was someone who wouldn't stop her from teaching and taking care of her family.

Her first broken Marraige did bring her down and Fateh's friendship did help her to come out of it. So she felt obliged to help Fateh to come out of his broken relationship. It was like payback from her side.

Her marriage with Fateh happened just coz she realised her father's mistake and his honour was at stake.

Her dad collapsed which terrified her. That's the only reason she agreed. She would have married any stranger for her family in that situation.

She did not marry out of love neither did she help Fateh out of love. It was for honour and friendship , a Collage Lecturer like Tejo ended up with an aimless, frivolous guy like Fateh.

Tejo still has her old fire . She is temporarily caught in household drama and toxic relationship. But I am pretty sure soon the girl will think straight and go back to being a decessive strong Tejo we started watching this show for.

My shout out all feminists here . Let's make our Tejo strong again. Let's request creatives to free her from Fateh and Chammo slavery and at least give back her quvated Udaari.

Regarding Fateh he never had any Udari(ambition) and for Chameli , well she has obsession( sanak)but no ambition( udari). So let her switch from one to another.
