According to the daily, the actress has recorded a statement and said the videos that are coming under the scanner are erotica and not p...ography. The actress says that terming the videos as p..n is wrong as it is just erotica and even cites more examples of similar content on other OTT platforms. According to the reports the Crime Branch has also seized electronic gadgets during the house raid.

A source close to E Times puts further light on the case and says why Shilpa Shetty’s involvement is being probed, according to the source, “The reason Shilpa has come under the scanner is because she resigned from the director’s position at Viaan Industries.” It was Viaan Industries which was used to produce the videos under question.

I knew something like this would happen.

Either Raj cheated on her and was leading such a big scandal. Or else both husband-wife are making us mad.

I had a doubt that Shilpa might not know because husbands usually tend to not tell everything to their spouse. But the fact that Raj is being framed by his brother-in-law. 😂😂 Come on Shilpa cut some slack

Maybe but maybe it’s more that she is defending herself. If she is under suspicion, it makes sense she would say she knew about the (legal) erotica but that is all. If she resigned from the board because she knew or suspected the company was doing something illegal that she wanted no part of, she might be in trouble if there was some legal duty to report (I don’t know laws in India but in US board members can have). Most Indian women are conditioned from birth to accept their husband’s deficiencies and support them through thick and thin so I do have a little bit of sympathy for her if she was trying to get out of it but the husband was continuing without her approval. Women get it coming and going, criticized whether they stay or leave.

Just like 'escorts' are not prostitutes? Okay. So that's settled.

Husbands do hide things from wives but if your husbands company had been uploading videos of naked women at least one woman from your friends-circle or your neighbourhood would MAKE it a point to tell you , most likely in front of others xD

Point toh hai boss. So I can't trust whatever Shilpa is telling. Let's see what crime branch will tell as closing statement

Shilpa doesn't need kundras credit card. She herself is rich and won lot of money in big brother. But I am very disappointed if she is involved too or supporting husband in taking advantage of people desperate to make career in Bollywood. She herself complained how she was uncomfortable when Saroj khan giving her instructions to hug and kiss SRK in her first movie.
