After that, Jennifer Winget's Bepnnaah brought colors to their knees. They ruined everything but did their best in promoting BP, even featured a special segment where the leads had to speak about the show after plotting it's demise.

That was it. Post BP, every alternate show went off air. They became desparate and dearest Shuklaji came to help via BB13. It was a well scripted narrative but alas, the dark horses turned it upside down. Rest is history.

Rangu bhai learnt a lesson, they are now a forgiving channel.

Star, colors ke samne acha bacha hai.

Sony is behaving very odd these days.

Nevertheless if MHRW is not facing the axe then maybe it's doing good on hotstar and for a graveyard slot, 1 to 1.1 is reasonable.

The actors are doing a fantastic job, salaries are not in the upper bracket. Sitara should not be so greedy.

I knew a lil bit abt Naa aana iss desh ladoo. Actually the season 2 couldnt create as much as an impact as season 1 had. I remember watching the first season .........and d couple had chemistry and story impactful.

Bepannnah I havnt followed as much. Liked it. Watched it till they fell in love but den I got over it. So didnt know what happened.

But I will give to star for taking chances. It had produced many many shows wid unique stories. Shows dont work out ....and go off air soon. But they do give chance to new concepts.

Shukla Ji🤣.....I dont know if you remember we were in the same team on BB forum. They hv made Shukla and Sana their brand ambassador it seems. Everytime they call those two for functions🥱

Abt MHRW.....true. its a bad slot. I dont know if changing slots will help now. But had it been launched on a prime time slot ....or 11 pm slot....it would hv done better. Initial episodes even had songs , dance and family sequences. Audience would hv loved it.

Colors had history of cutting the branch in which they are sitting ATM. They offed many good shows which were at their height in popularity just because it did not fetch TRP. Colors was the first channel which started giving chances to different types of scripts. I still remember in an interview Sudheer Sharma , the head of Sunshine Production told that he had given up hope when the script for Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha was rejected by every channel and he had given up hope and as last resort he gone to Colors which at that was a relatively new channel just being 4 years old and the Colors exec saw potential in the script with a unique story line involving a romance between a brash crime reporter and a widow with 2 child with no OTT drama and very grounded storyline. The Colors did not gave the show any prime slot and instead they gave the show the 10:30 pm slot which is a dead slot basically for Colors at that time. Rest is history as NBT though unable to bring much TRP but was consistently the slot leader and its fandom was equal to Iss Pyar Ko Kya Nam Doon and when Colors offed the show due to low TRP after 9 months the fans went berserk and harassed the channel execs so much that they were forced to give NBT a second season with continuing storyline. The first show in ITV which got a second season due to fan demand and also with a continuing story line.

NBT was a good show. I used to watch it . Loved the actress and it was a refreshing show in the midst of dramatic shows. I also remember its season 2 but I wasnt much invested in shows and trps den. It wasnt until after I came to forums dt I understood trps and its importance.

OMG!! A fellow NBT fan wow!! Yes Aakanksha was a talented actress just like Shivangi now she was also a fresh face but her acting chops were good enough to match Kunal Karan Kapoor!! KKK what to say about him that man was absolutely a class apart himself!! His voice modulation, dialogue delivery, eye expressions, facial expressions every bit of it was class!! It is mainly because of his acting and how refreshingly cool and real the character of Mohan was attracted fans to the show. Kunal and Aakansha's chemistry was natural just like our SaiShi . Also the storyline's uniqueness and no OTT drama and grounded close to real portrayal of characters . Especially potraying a widow young woman who is not dukhiyari but strong, calm and confident , who takes no BS from anyone and who is bold enough to fall in love despite being a widow and accept her feelings without any reluctance was very refreshing and Mohan what a perfectly gentleman ML he was with mutiple layered character.

KKK is amazing as an actor. I remember him in Pratigya too. He can play both the negative and positive shades wid much ease. The thing wid him was he is one such hero ......who doesnt fit into your ideal look of a male lead but his acting skills were always top notch. He is ....what you say your uncoventional hero.

Oooooo......they had sizzling chemistry. Some couples just click instantly. They had dt.

And Akanksha was very pretty too. Just like Shivangi.

I also loved the kids . They played an important role in dt show .

These kind of shows makes watching ITV worth it.

You really love NBT. I am huge fan of Harshad Chopda but he has his short comings. Kunal is a good actor but he seems to have gone underground. I feel Akansha is much better than Shivangi. My pov.

I wish we have a long innings with MHRW. With all its ups and downs, it still has so much potential. If the channel was understanding, we could have got a much better story.

But nbt2 wasn't that good. I tried watching- ek to I don't get why every season two had to start with leads separation (maybe angst lmao) and then they made the son hate him for some reason. KKK looked bomb though as usual. Loved chawanni and hie bond.

And then chawanni did a show with decade + ml opp her ugh

Shows with unique and fresh concept are what make ITV worth a while. NBT 10 years ago scored 8.1/10 in IMDB at an era when ITV shows were considered jokes in India and world wide. KKK is someone who can easily get into a skin of the character and he will play it with such ease that you will never feel that he is acting. Aakanksha Singh was a find , she was beauty with brains. Her beauty matching her acting skills made her chemistry with KKK a super hit combo and it exploded into popularity. The kids were awesome!! The bond between Mohan and Nanhi is the ideal father daughter duo of ITV till date.

Yes I am really crazy about that show. Shows like that are rarely made and NBT is a cult classic!! Kunal Karan Kapoor is someone who hates doing conventional lead roles as he is more of actor actor than showoff actor!! His USP is his acting skills not good looks or hot body. Aakanksha had a theater background so obviously she is much more skilled than Shivangi at that time and now Aakanksha is basically doing FL roles in south movies and quite famous!! Till now the show is all and good with no OTT drama or anything and the last confession episode really blew everyone's mind . I hope to get quality episodes like this in future also.

The season 2 was not as good as season 1 but what clicked in season 2 also is the chemistry between the lead couples Kunaksha . The Mohan and Megha chemistry was awesome in second season too and till now also fans demand a season 3 and even the actors also kind of said if there is season 3 they will do it. Aakanksha though now a movie star still said that if there is season 3 she will do it as this show is very close to her heart.

Ashnoor Kaur was awesome in Patiala Babes and Paridhi Sharma and Aniruddh Dave's chemistry was so good and the story was so realistic and grounded but after the leap and the exit of Hanuman and Babita they tried to pair Ashnoor with Saurabh Raj Jain which never clicked.
