On a more serious note, I didn't know he had such an issue with SRK beating him up in Darr. 😆 Who would have even noticed?! One big blow to a particularly vulnerable area is all you need to take someone down no matter how big they are. I'm sure a guy like SRK can beat up a big guy with the right tactics. Talk about a fragile ego.

But the one with the tactics should be the Commando not the soft looking loony stalker. 😆

I think though this was just one of the many things Sunny was complaining about in this movie. Reportedly it wasn't his lone tantrum. But his issue should have been with Chopra who supposedly didn't tell him how this was going to play out when he hired him not SRK who had zero power to change any script in 1992.

A great commando shouldn't be constantly outsmarted by a stalker throughout the movie and shouldn't be harassing his own girlfriend for cheap thrills, fully knowing that she is constantly on edge cuz of a psychopath stalker either! But hey, I guess those two don't involve a physical fight!

For a 90's movie, they show SRK as a pretty sophisticated stalker even though he's mentally ill. I mean, all those stunts he pulls without giving anyone an inkling takes some work, I imagine. It shouldn't have been a problem convincing the audience that he strikes a deadly blow while disarming Sunny with a fake apology in that jungle at the end. He is a coward and foul play is his forte throughout the movie.

But that's just my take on it. I'm sure even Yash Chopra didn't have much control over how the end product turned out. SRK made the most of what he was offered and Sunny doesn't have anyone to fault for that. Sunny was an established actor but SRK was not at the time and it hurt his ego that SRK stole the show, that's all. Male ego is a 14 year old girl ... I read that somewhere once and boy, does it hold true here for Sunny! ☢️

This is pure ego and jealousy, SrK ate you alive in Darr, you couldn’t digest that some 20year old boy showed you. There is nothing more than that, just in intro scene, Srk owned the whole movie.

So many questions I have on the ripping

Did he rip the pants he was wearing? That would be so weird. As it is i am upset that I am getting owned by this newbie and then I rip my pants in front of the cast and crew.

How did he rip his pants? Did his thighs bulge with anger? Does he mean he tore his pants? If yes, then did he do it with his own hands? Then that is such a weird reaction to have. I would understand turning over a table and storming off. But he ripped his pants? Wtf

Maybe he just likes ripping things. Did he also rip srk's shirt in the first scene? He had the hots for srk and wanted his character to stalk his character instead of juhi's? Was it supposed to be S.. S.. s.. s.. SUNIL instead of Kiran?

So many questions

Acting make all the difference. It's a thin line between making it work or not.

I am sure Yash chopra didn't start the film with the aim to sideline his hero and glorify the villain. During shooting he may noticed the power of srk's acting.

Even then I don't think srk has an author backed role like say hrithik had in dhoom 2.

His acting and screen presence overshadowed everything and everyone else in the movie. This is why he is one of the celebrated Indian super star. The raw energy and passion srk exhibitied in this movie unparalleled even by him in any other movie. Baazigar was over the top for me.

As for Sunny I say tough luck and this shows why he never become the phenomena that was Srk.

I so wish Aamir or Salman acted as the hero since their screen presence and charisma also on par with Srk. Aamir in particular could have given another dimension to the character. His chemistry with juhi also excellent.

Will Suhana Khan also meet the same fate as Tanisha and Esha Deol?

I feel she will end up just like them because Suhana really lacks the looks, glamour and talent! I mean she’s just NOT cut out for the glamour...
