Unpopular opinion:

I couldn't like this latest restaurant sequence as much. Believe me, I wanted to but I couldn't 😆

See, leads with great chemistry and great supporting characters (like Raj, Sonu and Karthik) can only do so much if the editing, setup and other technicalities are not equally great. Like I mentioned earlier, I could ignore the choppy editing and execution during the Diu episodes, and also the fact that they used the same resort as hospital, airport, kidnappers ka adda and everything else during that phase because they really had no other options. Not sure what was up with this episode though.

Somehow this café from the earlier episodes in the show-

looked more crisp, pleasing, REAL and well-shot to me than this "restaurant":

To me, the table and the setup looks kaafi sasta and not somewhere the Malhotra gang would prefer going. The lighting is average and so is the camera angle: it's like they were trying to get everyone in the same frame and couldn't afford going for a wider shot with more spaces in between each person. Then we have the opposite end of the table (the camera side) totally empty.

Nope, it does not look weird at all 😳

Looking at them sitting so close by each other was making me uncomfortable

Seeing these two scenes side by side, some might even say these are from two different shows.

What's wrong with the lighting? Earlier I thought it was just my screen settings 😆but pre-leap episodes look great on the same screen while this looks rather bland.

I also didn't like the outfits in this scene. No offense to anyone who did. Especially Ishqi's saree: she looks gorgeous in nice, bright and youthful colors IMO. This mara hua shade of blue doesn't complement her or Ahaan.

The dance sequence: again with the camera angles. I don't know if our director bhaisaab is obsessed with close-shots or what but sometimes I as a viewer want to see the surrounding too in which the leads are dancing. I want to see the stage in its entirety because that allows me to enjoy the dance more. I want overall panning, high-angle shots from above, wide shots, mid shots, close-ups, all of it. Maybe Alakh will get what I'm trying to say, I mean the angles used in this sequence (starts somewhere from 1:13/1:20 I think) : https://fb.watch/v/2NX0-psLR/

Ishqi-Ahaan were beautiful❤️ and they were the saving grace in the scene but if the show is extended, I can't keep ignoring the execution/editing issues for long. Please someone tell our dear Direction team to change their camera angles every once in a while for Heaven's sake😆

Ruby ..i completely agree with you..it was shoddy piece of work ....even i could not enjoy it ..and yes why were all of them crammed into that table chair setting...it was like adjusting in a mumbai local train seat🤣

karthik could have easily sat next to ishqi and how does one eat sitting stuck to each other ...as ishqi said...kaun sa yeh banda mujhe apne haath se khilane wala tha 🤣

and her blouse was ill fitting too ...i could not ignore this😆

must be rhea ka pregnancy only ..ishqi's initial reaction has to be this...we cannot expect her to think immediately that something is amiss....

Methinks they didn't go out anywhere. Didn't really plan anything.. set par hi in the house corner main they must have put a small table whatever is available, and usko restaurant banda dia. The horrible lightings are used to cover up the background 🤣

Ya bg main disco type dikha diya taaki restaurant main dance normal lage 🤣

Whover is shooting this, they are not good with dance sequences or the set decor itself isn't good.

Even Arnav -Khushi's dream sequence was better 😆

If you remember, in JA.. the sets of JA at Karjat looked so dirty offscreen, but still they were shot well. By the way the set caught fire a few months back.
