Ah! This makes sense. I have tried so many times to find those number...but they are not available. I assumed I was missing something as all of them publish the same numbers and call it BARC data. Trp report is transparent, you can google it yourself. Pata nahi kya hi jhol hai.

OTT might have budget issue but they could have changed time slot just like Star Jalsha did with Mohor bcoz of low trp.If SP's sister channel could do ...then why not SP???If at all that was problem then shift it to Star bharat.....heard that the makers were very keen on keeping the show on air and were ready to take into any platform.About online trps...it doesn't exist bcoz on twitter someone shared a screen shot of Disney hotstar whatsapp page where it replied that there is no metrics available to detect online trps.Deba told in a recent interview that the show was doing very well on online .So,I would rely on these facts rather than the shit Gossip pages flaunting those online trps on their pages.

I think ph needs to be sent mails regarding s2 and also sp as I heard it has copyrights… should try to do it at the earliest before Leads sign in other shows.

Is there any trend going on? As I can’t see it in top 50?

I agree with the article to a great extent. The same yardstick cannot be used to measure primetime slots and early/late slots. You cannot compare a youth based show to a family drama (honestly, before the marriage, it had full youth/college show vibes and I think would have continued the same if not for trp pressure). It's unfair to the makers, the actors and an insult to the concept. And SAAKK is not the first show to face the brunt but it's good to see someone talk about this. Good content loses to an outdated system.

Yup...I too agree on the part that same yardstick should not be used to measure prime slots or pre prime slots.If the trp system can't be ward off totally then atleast take into consideration the other factors also which could detect the show's popularity correctly.As KV said ...the online craze,it's engagement all should be taken into account. Today's generation is too much into social media who loves to see logical stuff and they show their craze for the show thru this medium.So,why ignore such facts while axing a show.

I really don't know what the issue with promotion was. No major track was promoted while we were given 2 promos indicating a love story...which was useless. And after a point they just stopped online promotions also. It was weird.

I too don't understand this ajeeb promotion pattern of SP.The shows which are gaining huge trps ,what's the need to promote them more ,as they already have dedicated viewers😔 .But the shows which struggle for trps they should be promoted more as such shows need new viewers to boost up trps.But nah...once there is no increase in trps...SP also turns blind eye.😡

Having said that, I am appalled at the kind of market research or audience reasearch these channels do. Do they even look at the audience demographic? The concept? The ideology of the og demographic? It just feels they just pick and throw! But I guess it's only about the money and I can't even say that it's horrible as that is how the world runs.

So,true... but Channel sometimes should take into consideration about viewers sentiments.It's the viewers that make the channels stand out.No one can tell when a time will come and all this ignorance,arrogance will be crushed and the Channel will left craving for good trps for its shows.

While even I could see the storyline giving in to trp pressure but I always think what beautiful scenes we would have got had they not gotten married...had the fest happened, the Shagun track taken a different turn with anokhi refusing to get into something complex with shaurya! (as was the story indication but lockdown happened 🥲) Don't even know who to blame. But I am sure done with itv!

That's the reason I want S2 to come on OTT where there will be not much pressure for trps and the story will also not suffer.

Hope they do trend for season 2 rather than things like yaad ps ki aane lagi..

Poor Anokhi thinks she’s not trusted by her PS, concurrently her PS is defending her to high heaven. I also liked the Anokhi promise to not reenter SH mirroring Shaurya’s promise not to come back until he can prove Anokhi innocent!

Babli is amazing! I wish I could witness this slow rise of the Phoenix! Vineet needs a slap! That man has so much fake masculine pride 🤢. I’m glad the divorce papers are signed, now what will Vineet do as a last act?

Precap: Alok dragging down Shagun with him is cosmic retribution! I hope that scene isn’t the end scene of the episode. I want Alok track done tomorrow! 🙏🏾

If this was not the third to last episode, I would have savored Naina sequence a lot more. As it is, I just want some ShaKhi moments to remember. Shaurya better beg his wife for forgiveness tomorrow!

Thoughts?

Anokhi gets thrown out of SH. She wants to hold on until her PS is back and she has had a conversation with him but she is forced. While I am not happy at the way she was shown the door but I am glad she is out of that toxic household. I am happy that Shaan supported her exit from household not as a punishment but as a choice to preserve her self respect. I liked he had the courtesy to help her carry her luggage out.

I felt saddened as she thought of all her sweet memories with her husband in that room and the way she tearfully picked up the double frame and packed it with her stuff. I found it interesting that her last memory was him asking her how everything was about her and where was he in their relationship. Dare I hope, it is something she will give some thought to. She is resolved never to go back to SH again drawing a parallel to Astha. Does Shaan now understand why Astha would never agree to come back to SH and he would have to walk away from SH if he ever wants to reconcile with Astha. I am curious to see what Shaurya's take on it is.

Anokhi is convinced that Shaurya does not trust her but she truly does not understand her husband and his insane love for her. His actions are very odd sometimes though, no idea why he vanished but it is easy to interpret his disappearance as lack of trust. I guess he stepped out to clear his head and get clarity and do something that has not been disclosed yet but he should learn to pick his phone. He had to know his family will make things very hard for his wife. Poor guy must be so lost - none of the alternatives made sense. If he believes the recording then he misread Anokhi all this time and that is not possible. If he disbelieves the recording, someone has gone out of his way to fabricate it and frame Anokhi. Who can hate Anokhi so much and what do get intend to get out of it?

Probably not a popular opinion but in some perverse way I am glad that Anokhi was left alone to face the situation temporarily. She has been spoilt by Shaurya's constant support to a point that she takes it for granted. She makes choices/decisions individually and then expects Shaurya to support her without any question. She also insists she does not want his support explicitly because she can do it all herself but when things start falling apart, she gets mad that Shaurya was not there for her. She needs to learn what partnership means in a marriage. It is not about her but about them. I also found it interesting when she told Astha that she is not going to force him to trust her and she knows what kind of abuse she has taken (very truly said) but does she have an inkling of kind of effort Shaurya has put up in fighting his family on her behalf on an ongoing basis. Anyways we all agree that is an area of growth for her and it is hard for her given she has a trust issue with males in general and letting go of control because of her background.

Shaurya once again came through as he ripped into his family for letting Anokhi leave. I found it odd that no one mentioned that she did not want to leave but was asked to leave. BTW still curious to understand what Shaurya was upto all day. I guess no one expected that Shaurya to leave behind his wife, they were all expecting him to be disgusted by her and discard her from his life. Is marraige a joke to these folks? In all fairness the accusation was illogical, there was no reason for Anokhi to frame Chachu. She does not hate them and she has no personal gains involved. I have no idea how Shalok justified it in their head, maybe their hate and jealousy turned them blind.

Kudos to the new jugni in town- our very own Babli. Loved how she turned on Vineet. Ahir was so proud of her. I still don't see the attraction between them but I see Babli has become Ahir's habit and he is loath to let go of that. Waiting to see how they intend to resolve this marraige issue. Was it just me or suddenly Hitesh seemed to have lost a lot weight?

My KP for today's episode - I want all the evil band to turn on each other and all the truth to come out including Alok spiking the drink and trying to create problems in SR, BM/BP role in exam schedule fiasco, Alok kidnapping etc...I want Shaurya to know clearly what his family is like and what he and Anokhi would have to deal with if they ever chose to come back to SH. It would be good if we found out why Shagun is desperate to marry Shaurya but I am sure we are not getting that.

It seems we are headed for a redemption for BM/BP but the issue is not the molestation track on hand but rather the soch and their expectation of a DIL. That has not changed so in other words nothing has changed. They still want a doormat as DIL and Anokhi does not fit that mold. They will keep playing games to separate the couple so why would the couple choose to return back. I want Shaurya to choose to stay at Shaan's flat indefinately.

I can't believe that we are almost at the last episode ...the story still seems so incomplete. I am hoping against hope that PH announce that they are actively pursuing possibility of S2. Fans are fearful of actors getting engaged in other projects (people work in multiple projects all the time so that does not worry me) but the fact is eventually fans will move on too and the hype will die down. It is a pity that the story and the actors have too much potential that has been left unexplored.

I was watching some of the older episodes and the cinematography, the music, the leads ...it sets a very high bar. The show could be tipping point for how we see ITV. I still can't believe people are watching didi show ...5 minutes of it gives me headache, I still don't understand what they keep arguing and insulting each other about episode after episode.

I want the show to be on OTT preferably one with international reach. With Channel, they will end up in same situation as before where they will struggle with TRPs. The fact is that the story and the backdrop is too futuristic for general Indian demographic. As long they decide on a tight and realistic storyline with oodles of romance thrown in (they will have more leeway on OTT), they should do very well. I also want it to be finite series so that there no stretching of tracks illogically.

I do agree with you if there is S2, I want the same cast back including the leads.

Todays epi was good though emotional and painful, i felt it was for good for Anokhi to move out and was so happy that Shaan stood like a pillar and I was sooo emotional when he carried her luggage...

Befitting apologies she gave to the toxic family.

I dont know if its only me in all through the fiasco not once did Gayatri spoke a word, she is indeed shocked but not a word about her trust in her husband. Isn't it shows that Alok indeed had had a past with such filthy acts!.
