Who did you like more in cocktail ? Veronica or Meera ?

Who should’ve gotten the guy, the sympathy. Who had the better POV and who was just an overall better character

Veronica. Meera was plain boring and one dimensional Deepika totally stole the show in that movie! And about who should have gotten the guy, well Gautam was in love with Meera and not Veronica, so it totally made sense for him to choose her, I didn't root for them though because I felt so bad for Veronica!

Actually everyone were crappy characters and hence they became friends. 😂😂 So no one was better or worst.😌

I actually preferred Meera's character, at first she seems good-two shoes but then you realize she has selfish tendencies. I didn't mind Diana Penty in the role, but a stronger actor would have actually made it better.

On the other hand, I did not really care about Veronica's character but Deepika was really good. Just because a rich-entitled brat/party girl realizes she has no real friends, we are supposed to sympathize with her. Also, Gautam and Veronica clearly had a no strings relationship and Gautam was never really in love with her, so I don't see why Meera and Gautam's relationship were frowned upon.

They were both stupid.

The moment Meera and Gautam kiss, they come to some sort of realization that they're in love?! Even though she did nothing but express disgust towards him the whole time before that little heart to heart?! That already didn't sit well with me.

As for Gautam, the less said about him, the better!! He was a douchebag who had absolutely no problem chasing skirts and embarrassing them in public but he falls in love with Meera BECAUSE she doesn't allow him near her?!!! WHILE bonking her best friend in the same house?! Fcuk that hypocrisy.

Moving on to Veronica, Veronica and Gautam are sleeping no strings attached but the moment his mother shows up to check out the "bride" and Meera steps in her shoes, Veronica starts longing for it too?!

So, did Veronica just want his mother's validation and smothering that Meera was getting or did she want Gautam? Cuz they're two very different things. Confusion, confusion. Once Meera and Gautam express their undying love for each other, no wonder Veronica wants Gautam the SAME way too. Veronica had issues but Gautam was a blockhead who brought those issues to surface. She wasn't in love with him, in my opinion.

Meera might look like an angel caught up in their mess but she also had issues. Even if she kissed Gautam, she should have retreated after that. She should have immediately gone to Veronica to tell her what happened. Not because she needed Veronica's "permission" but rather because she owed Veronica that much as her friend and Gautam was still bonking Veronica!

Meera should have found a place of her own after that .... wait for all three parties' emotions to settle a little and THEN made a decision instead of blindsiding Veronica like that in her own house and expecting her to be okay with it! And then suddenly packing her bags and leaving cuz of Veronica's meltdown.
