I believe when you start following it later in life, it will intrigue you. The best way is to watch documentaries and cool PBS youtube videos. When you follow it wihtout the pressure of scoring in exams, it will fascinate you. Physics tells you that reality is weirder than fiction. The simple experiment in Quantum physics like double slit experiment will blow your mind.

My physics was weak because my sir in 9th and 10th just used to come, sit, teach and go. We never had an in depth discussions about the topics. So my physics in 11th was poor too. I wish they had put a strong foundation of physics in 9th and 10th.

Forget Science (which I never hated btw), I despised Geography in school 😪

My whole class used to sleep during Geography class . The lessons were like lullaby to us😆

And don't even get me started on Russian Revolution. Uff how we survived those classes 😆

I came across Konkani on Wiki and mistook it for Kokani. It said spoke of it being an Indo-Aryan Language or something and I'm like are we alienated Indians, or what😳😆

It turns out Kokani isn't a language per se, because it's got no grammar or anything of the sorts, rather a dialect according to my mum.

Language ain't so sweet😛 But then again, I may be saying this because I'm more interested in the cuss words so I can swear anyone anytime without them knowing😆

I think I mentioned in previous post that I am into physics. My career is in applied physics.

Reading History is my hobbie. I m not into particular time frame or country. I like and want to read every bit of world history since civilizations started. But I have limited time 😭. My most favourites are those major events/leaps which changed human societies like early civilizations, Sumer. I am very interested in knowing how humans decided to abandon hunter gatherer's life and chose agriculture and settled down. So I read more about all ancient civilications around the world. And being Indian, I closely follow all new developemnts in Indus Valley civilizations especially genetic study. Then second leap was from first settlements to first kingdom Akkadean kingdom. Again I want to know why those town people decided to follow one king/emperror. The changes from one kingdom to other doesn't interest me much unless it is very eventful. The other major/leap events like Monglian empire, Prophet Mohamamd era, starting of European colonialism, World war II interest me. So I choose such events and read around it/watch documentaries. Ideally I want to knwo everythign but I know it is not possible.

Whenever I travel or go for holidays to other countries, I make sure to read their history before visiting. Atleast have overview from early cviilization, ethnic groups to modern times, food, langusge everythign.

My mum comes from a coastal town, and their house on the hills/ mountains (can't remember correctly), by the ocean. So I just love that place! Coincidentally I was going through photos of my first trip there, just today😛
