Yes, I understand that but it was also the theme that he frees her from the societies bindings and allows her to achieve success without using her husband's name. If she marries him then whatever she does post that then it is tagged with his surname. I thought the point of the court case scene of her being made fun of was to showcase how a woman without a man is not accepted and she would prove them wrong.

Nishhh mein episode dekh ke paagal hogayi...bon is just few steps away from falling into deep and huge ditch....My god CC is as cunning as a fox.... infact fox will also be scared looking at CC..... basically bon is hinting the audience to be prepared for maha insult
