It's true that makers have taken the easy way out by making Jasmine downright negative and it would have been more fun to see her find her own match and her own way. Somebody who gets her out of her immature world. In that ways I liked Gippy, he showed her the reality of marriage that it isn't one person walking around the other like a slave. What I hated was the take away Jasmine took from it, that Fateh was ready to be her slave so she wants him back as that.
I somehow don't think Jasmine has any intention of marrying Fateh without the Visa. She would still demand it and believes he is so obsessed with her and her beauty that he will again agree to all the demands and be her slave in Canada. One thing I hate about ITV is that whichever lead is "prettier" according to the story, or modern, is always the negative one because they are obsessed with themselves, and they have repeated that here.
