Yes second season was kind of intense and fast paced with lots of thrill and drama which did not suit NBT but the second season also became hit because of Meghan (Mohan and Megha) . Their chemistry was still top notch and it used to make a bad episode turned good with just their one scene and FD would gush over it. I would say NBT was the first show which used their lead couple as USP quite successfully .

Aakanksha Singh her debut was with a cult show like this and that is why she never wanted to return to TV because there was no script like NBT after the show. Now she is a successful FL in South movies.

I think same will happen with Sai and Shivangi also because they are both actors who have a broad skill set and prefers unconventional scripts. Shivi and Sai both have done Telugu films. If their current popularity is any factor then Sai and Shivangi both have a bright future in Telugu industry. Shivi might gets chance in the Marathi industry also.
